I will put my DYOR on this but I feel the good news in numbers we are expecting will be very good. Other offers may be around, however CC has jumped through all the hoops, come out in a blaze of glory, in time for TOTEX etc. I know in the past Colour has said I get carried away saying we could possibly get all 250m but if all goes well I feel we could get 100m.

It surprises me that there is never a mention of CC by Genus or the questioners.

We have said before that what makes a meter smart is Smart Comms. Genus obviously already makes quality meters and have taken CC Omni in-house, therefore it would not hurt to give CC a mention and possibly improve their sales even further with 'CC INSIDE' meter. Especially following the success rate with INDORE. DYOR

Genus are well under way and say that all new meters will be Smart.

They are exuding a lot of confidence and should I be so bold as to say because of CC and its reliability. Just looking back at my previous comments with Vas, I would not be surprised if CC get involved with Cellular via Genus. I think there is going to be a mad rush as these tenders finalise and that there will be great interest in CC and its accomodating platforms.

I was not intending to drag you into anything, my political comment in our talk was that boundaries and agreements had probably already been set. I should ask JC about INDORE.

As you know a lot of money was spent in obtaining IPv6 and a lot more in R&D Cellular. My impression was that Cellular was capable of the 'full monty' not just an add-on which we could have bought from another vendor. Do you recall him sighting coming out of a football match and all regular Cellular being full.My impression was that we are self contained, private secure Cellular and able to do everything. I may be wrong on Cellular SLA alone but I seem to remember JC saying 93%. Anyway he will know. .

When Vas about percentage of Cellular to RF my mind went back LTI and discussion on why CC does not go for Cellular/RF i.e. the whole lot. I seem to remember it was politics.

JC said that most Utilities comprise of a need for both systems and other IoT characteristics.

Well as I see it that is why CC developed Cellular etc, so as to cover all platforms.

Again I seem to remember that Cellulr alone did not meet SLA for a Utility.

LTI, if you know, how was INDORE installs of residences and Feeders constructed. Did they have to have a mixture of Cellular/RF and is so who by.

With the pressure now being off of Utilities finance surely CC bid for the lot.

Discussion on other BB re various types of funding and takeouts.

As I have said before I would not be surprised if Genus bought 51% or possibly Genus, Intellismart plus others and poss GoI formed consortium for 51%.

This would guarantee beyond doubt their supply line as the 250m units are about to takeoff.

I say 51% because I think they would want CC to be able to remain agnostic to fulfil GoI aim to rollout rapidly.DYOR

I think Genus reports on 7 Sept ITT, it will be interesting to see the further progress.

Hello ITT. indulge me, what is a retained loss. I suspect I know but I have always viewed a loss as a loan that we have not yet repaid. In the case of CC all additional costs were met by a share increase so covered. Also CC shares were in the 26 - 29p so the increase in shares could justify the lower 13 - 17p band.

Thanks Vas. Should we have any concerns. I seem to remember Subs had to pass tests, like money, size, number of installations etc.

I know you are a numbers man. Following on from my 20 fold for CC, with Genus was that the bottom of their chart for them as well. Only I was thinking really our chart is 13 - 17p. and last year we had already reached 29p.

You also mentioned £67m before we break even, have we got loans outstanding, I was not aware. DYOR

Well Vas as CC does not need to be on the list I suppose they can couple with any of the others if Cellular meets the leads SLA.

It was interesting to read on other BB (0804 1/9/23) ITT's observation that Genus shares had risen 20 folds since 2020.

I don't know how we feature in Genus manufacture but I suspect that as they more or less licence us as inhouse that we will be involved in most of their Smart Meters.

Having said that could our SP improve by 20 fold.

Things are hotting up. As a layman the technicalities are now getting complex.

As I see it CC by being capable now of Cellular and all platforms can now tie in with any bids if requested. The fact that CC Cellular is a private secure operation must out way the public Cellular of other companies. We have taken on many new staff which I assume is deemed necessary but hopefully R&D has not risen too much. I would have thought we had reached break-even. This September should be very interesting.

I reckon Sept quarter will see some action, time limits on getting a percentage complete for grants, and Utilities eager to get underway to save money.

Perhaps JC will give us an update on FG23 FG25 and FG28.

On my last understanding Wirepas only had about a few people in India probably more now.

So they present a system , Silicon present at Chip, they go to another Solution provider to put it all together. All guess work from me but CC has worked its way up the Indian hierarchy and proved itself. So failing that it is possibly down to SLA and price.

I think there is security value in CC's private Cellular system which may be considered.
