Question for the medical experts on this board. It's relevant to the vaccine versus treatment tradeoff.

I remember reading somewhere that there was a question on how many doses of a particular vaccine a body can take. The theory is that the body starts to build antibodies to the vaccine itself - I think this was particular the case with the chimp virus used as the messenger in the Oxford vaccine.

Does anyone have a view on this? Clearly it could mean that we would only want to do boosters for really "big" variants. For "smaller" variants where the vaccine efficacy is reduced a little, it would be better to address the risk of some catching the virus with treatments.
