The NIHR has announced that the University of Southampton will host one of eight hubs of the new Research Support Service (RSS) from 1 October 2023.

Professor Gareth Griffiths, Director of the Southampton Clinical Trials Unit, said: “As part of the RSS network SCTU will submit NIHR funding proposals with Chief Investigators from across the UK in a variety of disease areas including cancer, respiratory, primary care and early diagnosis and develop new methodological advances in the conduct of clinical trials.”
