Polygon Global Partners has a big enough stake to block a minority squeeze out. Between them and Polar, they are close to the 25% stake needed to block the scheme of arrangement. I think thats good news as they are unlikley to sell to a bidder on the cheap.

Our two big shareholders are getting close to 25% so could bid up a takeover as they have the ability to block.

dgdg1, the infections could drop but I am afraid that with the onset of winter, weakening vaccine impact, the return of schools and colleges, and the removal of Non Pharma Interventions/no new lockdowns, we will continue to see upward momentum in global cases, some of which will need to be hospitalised. The US is most acute as the vaccination rate is so low - and so boosters will not help here. And this growth is before any new variant - there is now selection advantage for a vacccine busting variant. The only way to stop cases is through the greater protection from having caught Covid and thats going to take at least a year.

Now this could come down with greater immunity from having been infected but clearly a new variant and the winter could result in an increase.

US Weekly hospitalisations 87,000 so 4.4 million a year
UK Weekly hospitalisations 6,500 so 0.34 million a year
France Weekly hospitalisations 5,000 so 0.26 million a year

Total all the countries 5.7 million a year.

If we assume half the ill are put on SNG, its easy to get to to a global demand number of 2.5 million treatments a year.

If we assume £1,000 net per treatment that would result in cash flow of £2.5billion a year. And ridiculous valuations when compared to current market cap, even if probability weighted - can see the case for a low PE given demand maybe only a few years but Covid could be with us for ever.

The US is the biggest market by far given their low vaccine take up - only 50% have been double dosed. Active 2 will be key.
