"Use of Rare Earth Metals
IQE does not currently use any Rare Earth Metals for any of its volume production products. Small quantities (less than 1% of total raw material spend) is procured for research and development projects and for such projects a minimum of six months’ supply is available."

Saying it's not financially viable on a cyclical low point seems daft, it's been around 35 years. They have a liquidity issue to address, but if they can sell Taiwan for fair value which I believe they can, it's future in defense, power gen, AI, sensing looks strong to me.
The nature of semi related company is jam tomorrow but when they said their pipeline is the strongest it's ever been I and I think multiple potential suitors took note.
