tomvisual, I'm not knocking NCYT at all. I'm still holding from early Feb. I was simply pointing out that Ade was admitting to deramping AVCT and then flip flopped between ramping and re-ramping NCYT within the space of 2 hours.

Jesus, you really shouldn't be investigating if you can't read what day it is.

I think they're simply clarifying the difference. We've even seen the journos confuse the two types in the daily Q&As.

Ted, do you have a source? I'm yet to see anything official stating they are developing an antibody test.

The toe as been dipped into the water. Hopefully this has translated in to more sales -

'The Company expects to sign further distribution partnerships during the next few weeks in this region and also expects to update on its progress in the US market following Emergency Use Authorization granted by the US Food and Drug Administration announced on 23 March 2020.'

Hopefully we'll receive an US update soon - 'During the next few weeks' is now.

8th April RNS re partnership -
'A new testing laboratory will be set up by AstraZeneca, GSK and the University of Cambridge at the university's Anne McLaren laboratory.

As part of the collaboration, Novacyt will ensure an effective workflow process within the facility for COVID-19 testing, as well as provide its COVID-19 test to generate results data.

Steve Rees, Head of Discovery Biology, BioPharmaceuticals R&D of AstraZeneca, commented:
"We are delighted to be collaborating with Novacyt to develop and evaluate the required COVID-19 testing approach in the new AstraZeneca, GSK and University of Cambridge testing facility to support the broader UK government screening programme."'

That sounds more like nyct is helping AZ develop rather than supply. Could AZ be looking to buy? I'm doubtful, but am trying to read inbetween the lines to understand the arrangement.

FWIW, I've been holding my ncyt shares since early Feb and believe there is more to come.
The partnership with GSK, AZ and Cambridge may well be developing an antibody test, but until there is an official announcement, we must assume they are only pushing the antigen test.

Are you guys ramping or just thick?
The tweet clearly says they are helping produce molecular tests which detect active virus. The tweet is explaining the difference between the 2 types of test.
