Can we stop this constant baseless ramping... please?
All options have been excised as well. No risk of share dilution any time soon imo.
Hanstar... Star-Lord's poor relation
'probably 19-Jul' .... Where did you get that from?
Usains message perfectly sums up why iis don't invest in the AIM market.
We also haven't been given the numbers, other than 'we've sold x million', so hopefully when a more detailed RNS is released iis will gain some confidence in the company.
Yes the directors bough at >£3. All in the RNSs
You're correct Smokie. Massive amount of sells at €3 to overcome.
Interesting that the 'Winter Mix' gggg21 posted has now been edited to make it look like an accidental duplicate post!
Posted something they weren't meant to did they?

It wasn't just you Topprize. We've seen this a number of times in the past, and I have no idea why it happens.
Could it be when the moderator is cleaning up?
This website uses a very simple algorithm to determine whether the trade is a buy or a sell (annoyingly the LSE (London Stock Exchange, not this website) doesn't transmit whether it is a buy or a sell, only the trade) - if the trace price is closer to the Bid price then it displays as a sell, and if the trade price is closer to the Ask then it lists a s buy. If the trade is slap bang in the middle of the two it can't work out which it is.
As a result, I would take those buys and sells with a pinch of salt.
Would love 300 Euros!
You can see the volume traded over here on the main page for this share on this webpage -
https://www.lse.co.uk/SharePrice.asp?shareprice=NCYT&share=Novacyt
There is a table which includes volume. As Bramley says though, pay more attention to the French - There are more shares listed on their exchange which drives our price.
I think we can all rule out a takeover after the govt passed this. Nova certainly aren't in the vulnerable category but are obviously critical in the UK testing supply... Unless a competitor also supplying the UK could argue to the govt that test supply won't be effected as they are supplying the UK already?

"The UK government will immediately tighten takeover laws to ensure British businesses critical to tackling the coronavirus pandemic are less susceptible to hostile foreign takeovers owing to the economic downturn."
The percentages won't match up. An uncrossed trade yesterday sent our closing price artificially high. Also exchange rates can vary which will affect the percentages.
If you convert their price in Euros to Pounds, you will see that they are fairly similar -
10.31 France @ €2.63. UK @ £2.363
€2.63 converted = £2.37
At time of writing France is at 2.51 and UK is at 2.25.
€2.51 = £2.27
2 pence difference is nothing to shout about.
I'll put a fiver on sales update
Oilboil you haven't a clue about this company have you.
PHE has a contract with Novacyt to supply tests - Hence the AZ, GSK, Cambridge & Novacyt collaboration.
We are being driven French market. Unfortunately the French Haute Autorité de Santé have not approved this test for reimbursement (but it is still approved to use). HAS stated it will not authorise reimbursement because the test has been developed with one single gene target. Novacyt can still sell the test in France for private patient testing.
This caused the French to sell off. There is speculation that the new COVID-HT test announced recently may be aimed at the French, but we will have to wait and see.
Regardless of the UK & French, the orders books are stacked up and production has been increased to 10 million a month. You wouldn't increase production capacity to that amount unless you are confident of sales!
I'm sure that once more sales & numbers are released, people will have no choice but to start paying attention to this company again.
CS, I'm looking for some easy POC tests to test staff. Where can I buy the Avacta tests?
CS: "I'll leave the board alone now because there's really nothing to discuss. "
Well that lasted long...
I've been trying to find further info about the new tests but can't find anything other than the info in the RNS.
I was specifically trying to find out whether the new tests still test a single genome or if they test 2 or more, to appease the French. Is this along the lines of what you're thinking?
