Apologies in advance if this has already been covered or is in AEX docs but has anyone calculated AEX’s income once gas starts flowing, and the projected income on the planned increases in gas volumes? If so, what formula is used to calculate impact on sp?

Not sure why there’s a need to vex over the exact timing of the drill nor over other activities. Key here is surely that the pipeline is contracted, that a drill is going to be done and contractors are being found. And most importantly, gas is going to flow. Proposing/predicting exact deadlines just creates material and scope for derampers to sow seeds of doubt when all that is needed is patience. Buy and hold. Simples.

As I said, it won’t take 15 yrs to get to full production:

Not sure it will take 15 yrs, SC. There will be a run down, too. If the plateau marks the central phase then that would suggest a run up of say 8 years, and a slow run down of a similar period ie full production from say 2034 to 2054 and final gas 2060-ish. Happy to be corrected, of course.

Either way, massive income over a sustained period for AEX and shareholders.

I have/had 100k shares in COPL in my SIPP held with Jarvis but they have now disappeared. When I queried this, I was informed the shares had been cancelled. Is this true?

Any information/ advice would be much appreciated.

Well, spending £17K+ on over 1.3m shares at 1.34pps suggests someone is confident of news soon. Or have I misread the trade details? Trade this morning around 9.30.

Reminds me of the early days of EUA. Before the herd arrived, champions of the cause were setting out the argument for buying but no one listened. Then as the market woke up, sp rose rapidly. Key differences here though: country - NOT Russia! NOT in the exploration phase (EUA was always about potential resources). AEX is on a free carry to production and not been buoyed along by an open ended promise of production at some indeterminate point in the future. Patience and steady buying now will undoubtedly reap substantial rewards.

Looked at my portfolio on Jarvis and it appears COPL is trading again. Is this the case? Put in a Sell order and had a message : “The market are unable to offer an electronic quote, therefore please place a limit order “. Can anyone clarify the position?

Hi. At the risk of making myself unpopular, can I check what due diligence folks have undertaken on Carlton Elleker Chase? I make no apologies for seeking as much reassurance as possible before parting with more hard earned cash.

Has anyone been to the head office at 14-16 Downgate Hill, Cannon St EC4R 2 SU? Probably out of date, but the Google maps photo of the building has a large ‘To Let’ sign on it and one of the glass entrance doors has been vandalised. The last full accounts (Oct 2022) shown in Gov.UK indicate approx net assets of £73K. The company changed name from Barry Legal Limited to CEC in March 2024. ‘Elleker’ looks to have been taken from the name of the address of BL Ltd: 17 ELLEKER Gardens. I am making no attempt whatsoever to undermine but think it reasonable to seek assurance that there is the resource necessary to administer our collective case.

If all of this has been covered and folk have had contextual detail that provides comfort that’s great and would they mind sharing it again. I will then happily sign up and pay my dues.
