And if you have no confidence in COPL, why stress about others being invested? Ah, of course, you’re doing everyone a favour. Most kind. Don’t bother answering ; in the bin you go.

‘Russia's President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on Wednesday allowing foreign investors with funds frozen in Russia to use them to buy blocked assets of Russians ‘abroad.
As a result of sanctions imposed by the West over Russia's actions in Ukraine, more than 3.5 million Russians have frozen assets abroad worth around 1.5 trillion roubles ($16.3 billion).
Under the decree, Russia will allow citizens of what it deems "unfriendly" countries to buy frozen securities held abroad by Russians by using funds from special "type-C" accounts in Russia, which are otherwise effectively blocked.
Russia plans to unblock accounts worth about 100 billion roubles in the first phase.
The text of Putin's decree says it is being issued in response to actions by the United States and other countries and organisations that it calls "unfriendly and contradictory to international law".
Yep. If no NED then an RNS would be required- just as one was needed to inform the market that a NED was to be appointed. Patience is a challenge but just need to let the interlocking cogs of JV, GGS, oil production and ownership to keep turning.

yep - and prophetus loves telling us all what is “clear” to him aka talking ****** as if he’s the messiah saving us from ourselves.
patience all. the bashers will disappear soon.
tc
Thanks. Yawn. Binned.
And another for dusty bin!
Indeed, and just serves to confirm the real value of COPL. The bashers would not be bashing if the company and its assets were really worthless…. And there lies their dilemma: the more they bash, the more they underline the case to hold the shares ; )
Hold on to your golden tickets and just green box the *****ers.

…given WTI average rose from $75 to $82. On And we await financing, JV and September production news. Why are some folk getting knickers in a twist? Chill pill - and enjoy looking at all the green boxes where the knockers shout in their lonely little echo chamber.

Thanks, Shaa. So, to spell it out, how much does it cost for COPL to produce a boo ie what is the threshold for profit per barrel? Sorry, to ask but I’m not au fait with the detail but think a reminder of the potential here would be helpful for new readers. Hope you and others can help.
TC
Hi. Apologies if already covered but would someone remind the board what the impact of the current POO has on COPL’s finances? How much more profit on each boo produced? A relevant topic to keep on the boil given August production figures due soon.

Yep, a very constructive RNS: a fundamental shift in the management of the company that augments operational and strategic controls, just when on the cusp of a step change in production and partnership development. Step back and the direction of travel is clear. I’m holding and confident of a significant return within six months.

COPL, will you please update your website. There’ll be a lot of potential investors looking at it!! This from the site as it reads today, re the Cole Creek Unit:
‘Initially, up to 17 cased oil wells (many currently suspended) will be re-completed and put back on to production in the second half of 2021‘…..
Disappointing, given how much the COPL team is being paid by its investors.

True that ‘house brokers’ are paid by their client but the question is, why in this instance have they increased the valuation by so much? The probable rationale is not an irrelevance given the advantage of being ‘house brokers’, is that they will be privy to information we are not. The timing of the much improved forecast is telling, methinks.

Thanks. So, when will July figures be out? Mid-September?

S20, I’ll push the boundaries….
5/6: 5.00; 7/8: 5.00. 20/7: 1.42
5.00 - 1.42 = 3.58 + 5.00 = 8.58p
Here’s to a refreshing cuppa!!
Can dream!

I see LSE hasn’t included COPL in the top risers even though 12.31% but has included ORR (12.2%), and SNG (10%). Looks like the powers that be want to suppress any COPL momentum. Interesting.

Anyone got access?

Following the chart protocols, it seems ie pull back to close the gap up. ‘Usually’ touches the 50% rise so about 3.5 but can be done and over in an hour … and without being able to buy! We’ll see but with news due this week, I can’t see the pull back lasting v long. Sell and you gamble cos you might well find it difficult to buy back lower. Good luck whatever your decision - I’m staying put.
