‘Makame also mentioned another project involving the drilling of wells in the Ruvuma (Ntorya) Block and construction of a raw gas pipeline from Ntorya to Madimba in Mtwara Region, which consists of two components: upstream and midstream.

‘He explained that the upstream component includes drilling a new well (Chikumbi-1), rehabilitation of one well (Ntorya-1) and production testing of another well (Ntorya-2), noting that its completion will increase natural gas production by about 60 million cubic feet.

‘“The project is estimated to cost approximately USD 23.5 million. Currently, it is at the stage of procuring drilling services for the Chikumbi-1 well, site clearance for drilling activities and the final stages of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA),” he said.’

For me, the key quotation is:

Bottom line is I think many of us are in violent agreement that AEX’s sp will be rising significantly over the next 8-10 months, irrespective of the various views of exact timing of movements in the share price. All good as far as I’m concerned. Always risk so never an all or nothing ‘bet’ but risk/reward balance definitely tipped to the latter. Hopefully, more news on Ch-1 soon.

As said, time will tell. Market doesn’t necessarily believe in a ‘given’ but we’ll see whether a pipeline nearing completion, and the evidence that gas and income will be flowing shortly thereafter has a substantial and sustained impact on AEX’s sp. And, of course, there is no evidence as yet that any drilling has been delayed, just conjecture built on inference.

Good luck with that plan. Seems to assume AEX’s sp depends solely on one of the host of developments in the coming months. Really? I reckon the sp will be well North of 3p by late summer. Time will tell, eh?

Yep except they couldn’t transfer my SIPP cos it has EVR shares in it. Won’t issue a share cert as is under Jarvis as nominee. A right to do!

Hi. Anyone here have a SIPP with Jarvis? I’ve been contacted by Jarvis , which is about to cease business, and told it can’t transfer my SIPP to another provider because my EVR shares are suspended and so can’t be moved.

My concern is that as Jarvis is the holder of my shares as nominee, how can my share ownership be proven, going forward if it no longer exists?

Anyone else In the same position?

And yes, I recognise the shares may be worthless by the time they come out of suspension.

Good news , today. Out of interest, has anyone any calcs on the projected income to AEX once gas starts flowing eg 1st year, yr 2 and so on? Would be great to be able to quantify the benefit of the developments in ‘26 for AEX and shareholders. Hope someone can help.
