Well, I expect to know by the end of this year if I can retire sooner rather than later .
All my higher risk holdings seem to be have significant milestones over the next few months:
GWMO
EUA
KZG
IRON
After many years of investing with a variety of success and failures , I have a great sense of expectancy, even excitement, about what may happen by the end of the year.
I'm also glad that I have lower risk investments to complement these educated "punts".

Technically, it is actually looking poised for a break up. Once .13 is crossed to the upside, and with an accompanying increase in volume, then a nice run up to .23 might be on the cards, and beyond...
Depends on your methodology of course, but to say its definitely indicative of a fall is misleading...

Recent increases of 100% and I can suddenly see that I am on my way to positive territory with this little gem.
Now only 98.71% down, so not long to go.....

Luckily only a relatively small loss due to "betting" an amount I was OK to lose but I expect others not so lucky.... I often wonder how some people sleep at night, taking other people's money, knowing that that any return is likely never going to happen.

No, read the post - I didn't search Anglo American.

Yesterday morning (Saturday) I ran my usual search for "LSE SXX" which would normally, as one would expect, deliver the London South East as #1 rank in google search. Well, makes sense, doesn't it?
However on this occasion there was a sponsored listing as #1 rank. Any guesses what it was?
Well it started "AD" (ie a paid-for advert which can target key search words) after which followed an invite form American Anglo to go to their website for information on the bid.
Now, before you enter the site with the information you will be asked to sign a disclaimer about not disseminating the information to anyone in a "forbidden" jurisdiction - however there is not a list of forbidden jurisdictions...
Having signed the disclaimer..... well, I cannot say anymore for fear that this second post on this topic will also be taken down!
Has anyone else seen the ad, or indeed listened to or watched or read (whichever format it is) the presentation???

Interesting to note that Anglo American now feel its necessary to post adverts on Google which "hijacks" the usual search for LSE:SXX (normally London South East is first in search rank)
Watch the video by Mark Cutifani (did I spell that right?) Chief Exec of Anglo American, but make sure you are sitting down with a stiff drink when you do....
