Tricky to know what its worth currently, plus Odey's stake is being put to the torch and I see sub 25p here and shortly.

What might I have missed to beleive otherwise?

If this is indeed true it was a 'safe bid' by Apollo that served THG very well coming as it did the day before frankly shocking numbers.

Fair to say Apollo will not be coming back with what we might have otherwise hoped for given the assumption they were at least in the £1.70 plus range.

Think this bit of news will temper the sp for now - indeed may even take it back to the low 70's.

@manifesto - I really hope you are correct but if the past is anything to go by THG will disappoint at the next update and also dilute with share options.

It will be lovely for most if this does get bid and bought for £2.00 plus but that seems just too obvious. That said I have decided to hold these for longer than planned and do expect to exit for better than where we got to via Apollo's discussion.

Time will tell. The omens are looking better though.

@Silverlight - Do not tell Oke' that! Our resident 'know all' was pontificating with absolute certainty REV were never coming back from suspension and that BOO had it in the bag.

Think he watched too much Dallas as child and got to thinking BOO BOD were reprising the role of JR and Ewing Oil.

Anyhoo its not the end of the line for BOO they timed an off market purchase quite nicely and if REV get over 50p I suspect they will sell and bank a profit - which they struggle to do from flogging their clothes.

Sorry for calling you out on REVB but your endless pontificating about them not being able to relist was endless and as per the form book wrong.

You talk a good game I will concede but seemingly you struggle to be correct despite your 'I know best demeanour'.

Far more likely a worked buy over the day / past day. Huge worked sells would have seen this go lower and unless you had missed it - it was up 3.66%.

I have not said it will go bankrupt, my best guess it will be taken over by dilution and delisted. It really is a case of who wants to fund it most. It is possible Stroll will give PI's a further opportunity to lose some more money but I suspect he will take an easier path.

Expect him to sell a few more shares he owns before hand though. It really is like night following day with AML and I really do not understand why the blind lead the blind into thinking this will be resolved in any other manner.

Looks like the market is reading the statement and starting to understand that existing shareholders are on the cusp of the biggest dilution to date.

If I were a betting man I would go short here. The brand is cool, the cars - well DB12 is attractive but electrification will kill the new car side of the brand and finacially this is doomed.

Summary - RIP Aston. It was fun once.

I wish no ill on anyone here and would like to see AML prosper, my axe to grind is Stroll - a man similar to ex Pm Johnson whose ability to tell the truth is almost zero coupled with a 'boosterism' approach to forecasting.

AML in its current guise is a house of cards financially. The only saving grace being Geely who I beleive clearly want it to add to their portfolio.

No trading update - why would that be?

My guess is its pretty poor - DBX to my eyes is woefully ugly and akin to to a pumped up of a Ford Puma seen through the back of a spoon. The novelty of this car will not last.

On the plus side DB12 has taken the DB11 and ..... pretty much left it unchanged except the interior which is a quantum leap better. No sales though at present to register.

Cash call or Geely takeover beckons and pretty soon.

Load up in my view. If its good enough for top drawer frozen goods retailer its good enough for me.

Oke - Do not get ahead of yourself here. Yesterday was a small retrace of nearly all time lows, it demonstrates a bit of cunning on BOO's part and some neat timing before but is ultimately a long way from over the line.

Next's profit uplift is telling and needs to translate across the sector and is key to BOO returning to growth because if not they may well get bought themselves - if only for beauty and not for their sweat shop labour smutter.

@Oke' - I think your impatience may be proven by Friday as we see 30p. It all rests on the TU that someone earlier thought would be tommorow.

Personally I think BOO have been manipulating their numbers as best as they are able to dress up a pretty poor performance and the TU will not be great, however the sp has that priced in now so even a poor TU might prompt a rally back to the low 40's.

I am not long term here - never been convinced the founders are up to running a maturing business and in truth BOO should have been solidly profitable by now and its at best hit and miss.

I'm sticking to my 30. ?? top up to average down slightly and see where we go. Hopefully I will not have to do so.

I will add if we see 30p and again if we get to 25p.
