Wild cards for tommorow for me are:

Consolidation - 10:1. Thats me out as soon as I can.

Dividend - Would be the moment to give a token payment and show to the wider market JL's work is a. done and b. look we are paying out again. If this happens then the price will rise but its not an issue for myself.

The cyber hack is going to cost more / less than anticipated resulting in ..... SP either up or down. Having just finished for a big organisation that was hacked - total collapse of all systems the hangover is long and painful. Think 8 months and hugely disruptive.

I for one will be reading the statement with some trepidation in the morning.

So long as the baby didnt go with the bath water then yes we should see what is now the 'real' Capita.

Its a blood bath today so my prediction of yesterday and today being down is coming sadly true. Still hold the opinion this will steady into the late afternoon as I personally expect this to rise Friday irrespective of the wider market.

My reaction to JL leaving albeit with a lengthy handover was positive. Mission over - new man new approach.

So long as he does not on arrival do a "burning platform" speech like the new RR boss did then I think this will put a spark under the sp on its own. The wild card is the data hack and just how costly thats been and will become.

Unless we go into the 25's thats me done. Not being quite as brave as I had thought I might be today. Still think we will get into the 30's next week.

Exit price for me 37p. I guess though plenty will sell into any rise so this could well be wishful thinking.

I have Nofear filtered but I suspect any 8m trade today was a worked sell. V unlikely to be a buy when we have passed into the high 26's.

I am expecting tommorow to be sideways or down. The smart money is sitting on their hands or indeed selling or at least thats a fair option.

Me I am buying Wednesday - but only if we see low 26's and then only 100k. I doubt Thurday will be better until perhaps late afternoon when traders will take a position for the morning. I will add if we see 25's of any colour on Thursday.

Whatever happens it will add a bit of drama to what is I suspect the worst weathered summer I can recall in ten years.

@GOCPI - Thanks - will need it. Afterall if making cash in this game was easy we would all have long retired to spend our millions.

I have £128k to spend before Friday if this continues downward. Will easily be my biggest position if that happens but will on current estimated projection land me with circa 725k shares. I am not expecting CPI to fall below 25p at worst pre Friday.

I want some or all of my £35k of losses back from my last big position in CPI when my average was circa 38p.

CPI is not an easy share to buy in volume 10k has been the max I have been able to purchase but considering its steadily dropped thats a good thing - perhaps. Selling is always the same.

Good luck for Friday longs - 2021 eo July we went from 33p to over 53p (I remember not selling in the belief we were heading to 70p) I suspect we will do something similar and get to at least high 30's next week.

The risk of a consolidation especially if a dividend is in prospect is always there.

Poor old CPI have underperformed for so long now that no one knows what its really worth - the accounts are a minefield to understand. EPS if you can beleive that with CPI needs to be consistent and free of one off gains from asset sales to expect any kind of divvy.

Talk in 2021 was 2023 was the year for a divvy - DL hinted at as much - now maybe 2024. EPS will be the driver and I doubt any divvy will initially exceed 25% of whatever that is. At best I would suggest 0.5p.

Troubled share for me CPI - crystalised £35k loss last summer when I (rightfully) reckoned there were better pickings elsewhere.

Might double up before EO Thursday to take a £40k punt on better results.

@Oke' MA will no doubt recall the last time he went toe to toe with the markets most shorted stock dear old DEB's. It was at its zenith at the max level of shorting 20%.

The shorters I always suspected were inside and getting info direct from the accounts/sales ledger hence they only closed out when it was sub 5p.

MA lost £150m in DEB's plus whatever legal fees he paid afterwards to get control after the admin. He did not hedge his position either.

In my view he is toxic and far from a useful investor as far as BOO is concerned - almost has the whiff of death like a carrion bird. I think he just likes a gamble and has a scatter gun approach - he probably calls it a portfolio!

No company I can recall ever undertook buybacks in BOO's current position despite the cheapness of the shares. Just never happens.
