A pretty stupid comment. The writer is probably researching 10yo battery technology. 100's of £M are being spent on battery research every year. New Solid State batteries are much lighter, and have greater mileage and rechrging times is in minutes, not hours. I would suggest HFC transport is the better, since there is no 'grid' time. Present problemm is price of FC stack, and is being widely recommended for HGV, trains, ships, buses, etc, since the cost of the stack cf price of 'vehicle' is acceptable. With cars, the FCS can be as much as the car. But, like batteries, much moolah is being spent on HFC R n D. so the price will drop as competition in the market increases. Rest assures, you will be driving a battery vehicle in 2050.
