Your post would be more credible if it were addressed to Aim TD. He criticised me for having the audacity to put forward a solution for the obvious water problem EML has. He then forgot that it was him that mentioned salt was 'toxic', and he also forgot that salt is to be mined and sold. One can have a 'good' idea' about educational standards by looking at their posts. So, I have looked at your post, and can evaluate you are a very biased person, and one of 'the herd'. A reply will be of no interest to me.

It is irrelevant that the salt is a by product to the main operation, it is there in great quantities, and you were giving me grief over bringing it on site. Numbskull. My suggestion of sea water was spraying roads for dust prevention. Since it's a mine with an incline shaft, most of the roads will be underground, plant life and animals will be scarce. Roads above ground will be devoid of plant life through traffic, and animal life will not be welcome with a HGV's running around. It's was a suggestion to overcome an obvious impasse on water. The costs of shipping in water from the coast, or wherever, even clean water, will be insignificant compared with capex and mine profitability. Since GW62 obviously has no idea what' a lot' is, give me a laugh, and you have a guess.

There will certainly be a demand for 'dust prevention' by spraying on roads and perhaps crushing equipment. Sea water will suffice, and in available in large quantities at coast.

I believe that the majority of H2 powered ships will use Fuel Cells.. It's a 'relatively' simple transformation of stripping out diesel engine and replacing with FC, and no expensive gearing necessary. Oil tanks can be converted to H2 storage. The more switched on companies, say Maersk, will in time, have H2 generators from sea water on board.

As a solution, either long term, or as a short term 'fix', since water as been identified as the problem, bowser the water in. . The hgv traffic on the road to and from the coast is apparently not a problem, so ship in all the water needs to complete construction phase. This will give EML another 12+ months to find an acceptable solution long term for water. If no solution can be found, then ship in the water long term. The economics of the mine will be little affected. It will also test the resolve of the Moroccan authorities to have in EMP completing the mine.
