I misunderstood your comment of 'viable alternative to using fresh water'. I thought of fresh water being drinking water, and of course, in this context it refers to Dam water. As you have read from one of my posts, using treated waste water was a proposal of mine along with sea water. Both of these sources would be 'shipped in'.
The treated waste water was mentioned as a 'viable alternative' to dam water in the July 2022 RNS ( as BTS stated). The company and Moroccan authorities must be aware of site water requirement, and the output from the waste water facilities, and the amount of on site water recovery, so what is the problem.? There will, I'm sure, be some posters on here saying, 'it's not as simple as that'. Well, I'm afraid it is. Like todays RNS stating co-operation with 4 banks to arrange the capex package. No details, just a broad brush stroke. I remember 3 years ago, the company proudly issuing a RNS saying that capex finance had been arranged. I think we can all agree, that finance, which is a very lucrative deal for the lenders, is not a major problem. No EISA is a major problem. Without it, finance is not required. If the waste water is to 'goto' solution, then award the EISA, and then engineer the details The previous mentioned proposal must have included how the waste water is delivered to site, and toxicity considerations, so what is hold up. Crossing 't's and dotting 'i's is out of date know as an excuse. Which will come first, EISA or QnA session.? lol

I wish I shared your confidence. The company has had plenty of time since its post on ESIA was simply a mater of 'crossing t's and dotting i's'. The water problem is obviously a matter of geat concern. If no solution found, it is end of project. Simple. Westie posted a few days ago that there had been no 'negative' RNS. True. I am sur it will not RNS 'multiple suggestion to supply water t site have ben given to authorities, but all rejected'. This of course, should be posted under AIM rules since it would have immediate effect on sp. So we can only hope it has not put fprward multiple water supply solution. This of course begs the question, 'why effing not'.
Again, as owners of the company, we are left to conjecture, with the already seen results of animosity between invisible posters. I am hoping that the company is waiting to have QnA session in anticipation of positive news on ESIA. Otherwise, end of this 1/4 will come too quickly, and sp will be hit.

Changing the subject, the prevalence on mining sites going forward is for H2 FC powered material movement trucks, not battery powered. Batteries are way too heavy in a business where the 'payload' is critical. If shipping in site water by bowser is a 'short term' fix, then I would suggest the bowser and driver would be purely on a hired basis, and paid for from ' current expenses'.. If indeed shipping in was seen as the only long term solution, then economically better to purchase and have direct employed drivers. The most cost effective solution if site water is to be shipped in long term, is of course to build a pipeline, but since this would seriously delay mine start up, bowsers would be a short term fix so at least we can start mining.

My suggestion of shipping in water, whether it be sea water, once refined sewage water ( used by the majority of Spanish golf courses to water greens and fairways,. Don't lick you balls), would not be a capital ex. if brought in by bowser. It would come under site expenses, such as Diesel consumption would be. A site with the quantity of heavy machinery is going to use 000's of gallons a diesel p w. This would not be shipped in daily, but an on site storage tank used. The same could be done with shipped in water, with bowsers arriving at night, avoiding roads in the bust daylight period. Capex would be required for storage tanks, but 000's of USD not millions.

He did not address the main problem of water for the site operations, having found nothing better then ship it in. Non cash expenses are depreciation, impairments, write offs etc. With regard to 'sales force implementation, No idea. could be a write off?
