The refusal was 'water supply'. Simple. that is why we had RNS stating that 'recycled waste water can be used', and subsequently the RNS of KMP process reducing water usage by half. I do not think any empirical values were given by Committee on water usage.

I did vent my disdain at both EML PDMR;s, and their 'In Kingdom' adviser, on their lack of addressing water supply solutions 3 years ago, when the 'adviser' was given a brief, which included ' environmental concerns and remedies'. GW was already a factor, and Kingdom in drought conditions. EML 'praised' adviser on their report.

There is a malaise in the World, across most countries, on dealing with GW, especially when we have con. artists like Trump, who could be POTUS in a few months, who think GW is a hoax. Notwithstanding that, safe, environmentally friendly, removal of plastic waste must be the goal. The Beeb prog. highlighted the fact that incinerating waste, containing plastic, per Kw of energy produced, is as environmentally bad as burning coal. Coal burning power generation has now ceased in UK. Still the main power source however in India and China.

Next driver of PHE sp will be results from test centre. Guaranteed, that 'initial results' will be flattering. However, for the Co. to gain traction with prospective clients, it will need to show the favourable economics of DMG. Further testing to give qualitative, quantitative components on varying feed stocks to include waste tyres and Bio-mass., with a massive multi $B market in SAF. Castles castle may well be built, finally.

Only an observation, looking at the sp progression over the past 6 months. If a straight line is drawn from sp 6 months ago, to what the sp was on the 26 Sept ( before the spike caused by the upbeat, optimistic RNS of 27 Sept), the line is only marginally above where the sp is now, after the 75% drop yesterday.

If I were an unscrupulous CEO, with a little hint that some bad news may be arriving, I might get a few 'friends' to buy my cos share, then issue an upbeat RNS about 'prospects', sell on the rise, and then 'short' the stock. Thankfully, this would never happen in practice.

EML's lack of clarity in the majority of RNS, has again, led to wide speculation on what the RNS means. We have to say something, it's an opinion Board. I take a more simplistic view. I highlighted yesterday, there are only 3 possible outcomes. I will not repeat them. From the RNS, paraphrase, 'we have been led to believe that the recommendation is unfavourable'. It is obvious, to me at least, that the present body, who have 'not recommended', have the full authority to award or refuse EIA. This is EML's way of saying 'we have been informed, unofficially, that the EIA has been refused'. It is now in the process of finding out why. It is the supply of water you effing morons. If it is something else, then the whole BOD, PDMR's, should resign immediately, and let II's appoint a new Mngmnt team to ascertain facts, and a way forward.

My hope is that the refusal, allows for alternative water supply to site, at some future time. It is certain that the 'communication' is not an award with conditions on water supply. This would have been a better outcome, giving empirical values of minimum water requirement from 'other' sources. I think we could have expected a RNS today giving us the facts. The BOD have had 24 hrs minimum, to at least get the facts from the Committee, on the most important decision in the Cos history.

What I will repeat, is the absolute catastrophe, of BOD and 'advisers' (lol), of not addressing the water supply to site problem, 3 years ago, when the Kingdom was already in the throws of a drought, and GW was the buzz word of the last 50 years. Yes, GW was being seriously talked about in the '70s. Conoco ( formerly Continental Oil, and later T/O by Phillips Petroleum) scientists, issued an internal memo saying that rising Global temps could be directly linked to Fossil Fuel burning. Conoco immediately 'buried' the memo, and started a campaign, with other Big Oil, saying 'no substantive evidence of FF and GW relationship. Still doing it today,.

I hope that no PI's are in the position of being 'in too deep', with the prospect of life changing money lost.

Mr Jinx. EML do not own the asset. It owns a License to Mine, which is worthless without an EIA. Assuming water is the problem, then no EIA until an alternative long term fix is found. The only viable one appears to be a De-Sal plant, with water piped to site from Coast. The plant might be owner operated or leased. CEO and In Country adviser(s) need to resign now. However, if Graham goes or stays ( make a good title for a record), is immaterial in short term. A solution is required. It is painfully obvious that Graham does not have the answers. I have this feeling he will go down route of ICA, which will take months to refuse the objection from EML, and in meantime, BOD will finish off all cash reserves.

Not an 'out of the blue' RNS. Has always been an option, as discussed on here many times, 'OCP pulling the strings'. Of course the mine is a viable option, there is a 'Mining License' for Potash reserves. The problem, which this BOD and it's 'in Country' adviser, has, inexplicably not addressed, water in plentiful supply. The RNS, again, and again, and again, has left us guessing, as to the 'problem'. Is it water? Any other reason would leave the whole BOD tenureship in office, untenable. Assuming it is water, then the suggestion that there is' a plentiful supply of grey water', a nonsense. The II et al, are not going to be a 'happy bunch', but I hasten to add, will not feel the pain as much as PI's. If there is a viable strategy going forward, they must see 'investing' further funds to rescue an 'extremely low cost profitable operation' as necessary. I would counter any argument against going to International Court of Arbitration., especially in a Kingdom, where the Monarch is heavily involved in Commercial enterprise. It would fail, and finish any chance of further 'dealings'. A word 'in the Kings ear' now, will be met with disdain.

There are only 3 possible outcomes. OCP wait for Voluntary Liquidation and pay a minimal fee for the asset. Make advances to EML on having it as a junior partner in a JV and OCP solve the EIA 'problem'. 3rd alternative is the solution I proposed last week. A De-Sal plant, funded by new investment , cash raise, and work begins in months on mine shafts using water transported to site.

II's need to demand the resignation of CEO with immediate effect. He has achieved his main goal on AIM, which is the same goal of all CEOs, to ensure his families wealth. He cannot drive this company forward, and his incompetence has been laid bare for all to see. We will all get over this fiasco, and with any luck, and a 'fair wind', there may still be life in this Dog of a share.

Good post BTS. Makes it even more attractive for OCP to aid the voluntary liquidation of EML, and take the lot by 'paying' EML a million or so for the KMP process. Cynical, yes, true, probably.

I would like to have seen a much more pro-active approach to 'water' problem. The KMP reduces the water consumption, but can it rely solely on 'treated waste water'. probably not. Still requires diminishing reservoir water. Big problem, and may be the obstacle to EIA award. Solution. Have a De-sal plant built at nearest Coast.$100m+. 2 years. The mines new KMP metrics make this investment attractive, with a 'pay back' period of 5-6 years. The added benefit, depending on De-sal plant size ( Reverse Osmosis), excess water can be sold to local market. Win-win. To get the mine operational, water usage is minimal. This can be 'bowsered in' , 20k,30k,40k litre road units. The mine must be (?) shovel ready now, and work can start within a month or so. There will be other 'short term water fixes', so BOD , earn your effing keep, and provide SH satisfaction.

I hope BOD give an update soon on what 'tests' it will be doing. Such as feedstock types, throughput rates, and what will be 'acceptable' results, and if H2 production will be in 'test'. I believe initial results will be 'flattering', and will 'Guild the Lilley'. Giving major impetus to sp. ( plse make note Swaz., and you can plagiarise on your other forums). Further testing on Commercialisation will be needed to 'confirm' results. Not knowing scale of 'tests', not possible to give timeline, but early Christmas present is 'on the cards'. I do not get your ' that's it it's spent, !!!!!. You are attempting to say, I think, that 7 t of Syngas is insufficient to maintain furnace temp, and additional gas is needed. Without knowing the total energy requirement needed to 'break' all chemical bonds of the feedstock, I cannot say for certain that 7t Syngas is more than enough to maintain furnace temp. But I would say, it is 99% certain.

Ask your Son, since you obviously do not believe me. The 1st Law is not compromised.

First, the furnace is not heated with H2, it is Syngas, not 2 tonnes , but c7tonnes. which is the main product of DMG. H2 production from Syngas, needs another process.

To add more substance to my last post. EIA 'dropping this 1/4, can be any time in this 1/4. NY Eve, or tomorrow. If it's tomorrow ( Pleeeeeaaaase), Co will be without a CFO. One could not be found, of the right calibre, that afternoon. And we are all praying that 'when' EIA drops, events move rapidly to mine production, and not have to wait for CFO on board to finalise funding.

Ideas. I take your logic onboard. On the -ve side to that ( there is always a -ve), is the CEO is not overly confident of a +ve EIA resolution.
