Worst full yer results i have read from a builder in a decade. The new ceo is full of management speak BS but the numbers tell us a different story. Cash has disappeared and we now have debt, remediation provision well up , so as to cushion future poor profit generation and margins have gone.

I think another new ceo is needed here.

Bapa, the yanks like Trump because they hate the decline in living standards, the opiod epidemic and lack of opportunity like they used to have - it is all about perception. The average UK citizen has similar gripes about their government - ditto most of europe hence the rise in populism. Just watch the german election results for the next exciting installment.

Fordm, I don't think Trump is looking for money , he has delusions of grandeur and wants to go down in history as one of the truly great if not the greatest president. He wants the america back that he grew up in , in the fifties imv and all his moves are with that in mind. If he can expand into canada and greenland then even better. He is a classic bully and if Starmer crawls enough we might avoid the punishment that is surely coming to the EU.
