Jamman, that is a great average and imv you have chosen a sound company that will do well in the next 5 years. I have held these since they were floated decades ago and I think in reality they will eventually be sold by my kids to pay inheritance tax !

Good luck on your investing journey and my strong advice is avoid AIM shares like the plague - I have lost tens of thousands there and frankly there are only a handful of honest companies imv.

Get_rich, when we bought Telfer the business plan had assumptions about costs and production rates etc. The update we just recieved had greatly increased production and I cannot see how the costs that you allude to will have changed much from plan. Therefore our profitability is much higher , and of course we have the advantage of a higher gold price but as I recall we did hedge a certain volume . In conclusion I am happy for people to extrapolate a price .

Facebook has just announced an increased capex for AI investments which translates int more demand for power and hopeully some mini nukes .

Chid's post about the car claims has been removed but he/she made the point that HMG intereferring in a legal process was not likely to suceed , or words to that effect. I looked into that point and there is provision for the supreme court to take HMG views into account. So I am expecting a good old fashoioned compromise - the law is upheld but payouts are tiny. We shall see. I have trimmed a few LLOy yesterday and put the money in cmcx.

Clearly there are downsides but on balance I think there will be a Trump boom.

They are trying to 'normalise' interest rates having been stuck with negative/zero rates for donkeys years. Their problems stem from a huge debt to gdp ratio [240%] , a stagnant economy and lack of confidence that has turned what was the worlds second largest economy in the 1990s into the 4th.

I could go on but the parallels with the UK are obvious just now.

I think the price will drift lower , i.e be worked lower so that the MM's can accumulate shares in readiness for the next news release and jump in sp, when they will sell those shares at a profit. The only thing that will change that is if Van Eck? buy the 140m shares being talked about yesterday. Other more knowledgeable posters might be able to clarify if that is a realistic prospect.

Debs, My favourite trading account is the one I have with IG Index - only £3 per deal and good systems. I also use Barclays - used to be good but systems are awful and they are more expensive. Hargreaves Lansdown - a little better than Barclays. Interractive investor - high charges but systems ok. Redmayne bentley - established 1885 and still in 19th century £35 charge on a £2k deal plus stamp duty and you have to write to them or telephone them to deal. I hope that helps.

Doye- I am also a long way down here - in fact I have stopped looking - way into 5 figures. I thought that the launch price and the softbank connection demonstrated realmvalue existed somewhere here - frankly now I believe it is all BS and a con job. I am clinging on in hope but if I do sell I will reinvest in CSN which yields over 9% and is the ONLY eurpoean/uk insurance company to have raised its divi each year for 20 years - more solid than here imho.

Bought another £3.5k at just under 228 - pleased with that - just wish I had sold these and IGG yesterday , in advance!
