With all these renewables producing cheap energy I can now see why my electricty bill has over the last few years fallen from 7p per kwhr to 34p per kwhr. More please said the deluded idiots.

My prediction earlier that this could close above 50p was derided and was the trigger for this thread so i am feeling pleased but do wish i had sold for above £1 earlier in the year. My thoughts just now are that that is achieveable once next annual results are published.

Another ambitious statement from the ceo - lets hope it all works out.

I think the opening price will be way above 30p for two reasons, firstly the ceo has stumped up £2m and must be confident he has got a great deal and secondly the major shareholder will not be selling his shares unless he gets a significant premium. In reality that couple have effectively robbed existing shareholders today as their price for the rescue. The ceo is also being rewarded for incompetence and in reality should be sacked asap. I would not be surprised witha 50p close. We shall see.

Dug and Alf, i don't wish to worry you unduly but PSA tests give 20% false negatives [ and 70% false positives] and since I found that out, I am thinking the negative PSA result i got last year could be meaningless. Therefore In shall be getting an OBD test to ease my mind.GLA.

CTFO, the 5 days is to allow for samples to be sent to Maryland USA and then tested. My guess is that will reduce significantly once UK lab is up and running early next year.

Here's the thing for all investors, people can say what they like about the benefit of swedish investors holding their shares into the future but whatever the pros and cons for them as individuals a number must be selling out just now. Those sales will no doubt be pushing the sp lower and what UK investors in particular should be doing is buying more while they are cheap. Having said that I think I will flog some BP to buy more here and keep my oil and gas exposure intact. as always dyor.

The guy less less than half of one percent of his holding probably to fund something he needs personally which is a almost meaningless wrt his portfolio. What is of more importance is his background and track record here and in fund management. Reading of his track record in international business gives me great confidence that we have someone with sufficient experience to ensure expansion in the USA , and elsewhere will be done in a way that maimises shareholder value. He also has the incentive to do so and provided no technical issues emerge along the way I can see expansion being rapid, solid and profitable under his guidance.

I have added £10k here this am in the expectation that there is a firm basis to the rumours. I do remember similar rumours about 8 years ago and that all came to nowt , however in any event the divis here look great so some protection either way.

Vaiter, as a holder who has bought at prices between 13p and 44p I am hoping those who bought in the 40s and 50s stay strong and wait for the next catalyst, likely a rns announcing a deal with a lab in USA or some early sale numbers etc , enabling them to see the sp in the 60s and for them at that stage to display dignity!

Amica, some institutions will not buy aim listed shares and some will want to see a trading record before buying in - they all have their rules and mandates. The biotech market is in the doldrums as is the whole market because government bonds are guaranteeing over 5% risk free. However , I do believe this will soon attract some institutional investors and quite likely that will become apparant after a few months trading , once revenues start to flow and they have numbers to work with, rather than the wild guesses we are throwing around.

As for the cash required to roll out - I think that will be modest - there is a lab in Maryland already and they are asking for £750 upfront for each test.

As for mass media just now - I have no idea - I emailed a journalist at the Mail and I guess if a few others did similarly we might see something printed now the excitement of HS2 is over.

Hasiba/sebo/slacker, the test you refer to has only a 67% accuracy at detecting cancer but a 99% accuracy of indicating what stage the cancer is at. The full scientific paper is attached. Imv this test, were it developed and taken to market would be way behind the obd test and not selected for screening.

Bertram, I use 4 companies, Barc [ cumbersome and expensive], II better but expensive, HL average at both and IG index - cheapest of the lot and my favourite. I am not 100% on their charges for infrequent use but they only charge £3 per deal at my frequency , about 1 per week /fortnight . IG also do a daily briefing at 730 am which I watch. Hope this helps but check out the subscription charges also.

I see Vaitor is making comments about cash flow, which imv are not that relevent for future cash flows. Hs/she said they sold out a couple of days ago at 33.6p .
