Jimmy, so the aim of market makers and indeed others is to encourage people to buy on release of RNS statements and risning sp, hope they become nervous as the price is walked down [ or falls on real sales] and sell out at a loss enabling the MM's to restock their books. The profits made each day pays the school fees etc and really have gone up the last few years so have some sympathy for all who make a living from these shark infested waters.

In reality you need to wait a few weeks to see if your decision was wise , which I think it was. DYOR,

MeinTeil, the problem for good aim bio companies is that there have been many aim bio companies that have misled the market with their over hyped promises and let investors down. It takes a brave ceo to say ' well we have tried for 10 years to make a success of our products but frankly they failed , so its best that we wind the company up now rather than try yet abother trial that we know deep down will not improve patient outcomes, I mean in reality why do i want to keep my job on £250k when no one else is interested in my knowledge'.

Consequently the market is sceptical and waits with baited breathe for the next polished RNS hoping it is the real deal and keeping the sp low because of the real risk the company is not being entirly truthful. Thats my view. I remain invested and optimistic here however.

Things are so bad here now that the people smugglers are offering a Dover to Calais trip and cannot meet demand.

Given BUPA are now paying for the expensive cirt test , surely they must have the PSE test under consideration. Obviously there will be some sort of committee reviewing these things and that takes time but the reimbursement here must be odds on now I would have thought.

IF BUPA will reimburse the economics must be sound surely the NHS will follow? Or am I being too optimistic?

The even better news is that the oil that was left in the ground has gone up in value whilst the pump was installed - not entirley sound logic i know but a compensation in my mind.

I cannot decide whether that product is better or worse. Hopefully someone with a more scientific background can give us a steer.

My view is that the B of E should have raised rates more quickly to about 5.5% and the pain would have been over more quickly , instead their too little too late policy means they have extended the time period by at least a year. Worse still , if oil continues to hike we could see another rise in the new year! What this means for TUI is a longer runway before sp take off.

Shoezone's latest rns is great and I was hoping that it would also have some read across here and lift the sp.

Better than I expected but outlook grim. Has the market already priced that in is the big question.

I can't explain the decrease [ actually it was 2 years ago they were 2.30] and that is why I have bought more. All I can think is the market is expecting a slow down in the usa and ditto uk/europe. What the market is overlooking is the fact that the business has more outlets and higher ownership of 'shared' retailers and a clearly articulated growth plan. I think the market is not yet convinecd by the new ceo and it may take the next results to provide that confidence. In any event this will surely recover from here.

Most UK stocks are down and my guess is the mms know that the inflation figures this week will be bad, putting pressure on interest rates and spending, adding to the gloom caused by higher oil prices. My positive thoughts are that the israeli march into gaza will be followed soon after by a truce and oil prices will fall. We shall see.

John, I just sold £5k here , against my sworn strategy , lol, because my other favourite stock, JD Sports has fallen to just over £1.30 [ imv it should be over 2 pounds because it will amke over 1 bn this year ]. I have promised myself that i will sell that tranche at anything over 1.50 and reinvest the proceeds here. We shall see how that works out!

Just bought another £5k for 130.2p - 1 pound cheaper than they were a year or so ago and the business has grown since then!
