Ricardo, you might be missing the conservative gold price in the workings - today it is way above 1900 usd per ounce. You might also be missing what is a Ton , i.e more than a tonne - but I don't know what they have assumed.

Ali, Peter is the ex ceo who effectively built this company - his fall from grace was over a car park meeting and his attempts to bail out footasylum , his friends off springs failing company, by taking it over. the cma wrongly imv blocked the takeover.

I topped up with another £2.5k as this should rise on good results and get a lift from rya when analysts look forward imv.

Rat, this share is interest rate sensitive and now that rates are not going up this is not going down imv.

Will be stuck at this level for a year , if the bank is serious about the 2% target - which I actually doubt given RPI, the traditional measure of inflation is running at 4 times that level. Bailey should be sacked - too little too late and consequently now too long.

At least we now understand why the share price was pushed higher.
