Here's the thing about Portland - it is some distance from any decent pipeline that forms part of the national grid gas system which will make connecting any facility expensive and therefore i would expect there will be other depleted gas fields alraedy connected that would be more attractive as an investment imho.

Interims good but the trading update has essentially knocked around 5% off profit predictions for full year, Will sp follow suit or was it priced in?

I think the company has increased its size and hence cost base for next summers business levels and that means q1 having a similar loss actually indicates good numbers later imv.

Having destroyed shareholder value at both Superdry and Saga I shall be shorting wherever he turns up next!

The projections look great but I would like to hear from an insider whether he is cutting just fat or also the bone. I have worked in companies where short term improvements reduce medium term performance so it would be great to hear some reassurance around how it feels on the inside.

Rocka, my interpretation of the RNS is that the company is hampered by client confidentiality - clearly the retailer involved will not want their competitors knowing what is planned. We will hopefully understand more when we get the next trading statement. As always the company seems on the verge of a great tomorrow!

Bald, imv the bigger problem than regulation is their enforcement by the FCA as far as the UK markets , especially AIM is concerned. They fail to act even when presented with hard evidence of wrong doing and their failure is so obvious that the matter wasm recently raised at one of the finance committees.
