No I've not heard this, I've done little last month on following OBD beyond here, but hopefully there is more behind the scenes we are yet to fully be informed on. Clearly not this week then.
The silence continues.........
I just received an email from In the Loop highlighting OBD.
I take it this is news is already out there
Oxford BioDynamics is also involved in another collaboration with the Imperial NHS Trust in the UK which is specifically looking at use of the PSE in Black Men.
I pretty doubt he envisaged this when creating the company with a mission to bring a product like this, along with some leading men in those fields to the market. But it's here now, let's see if he can live up to that hefty salary and get the job done. His work history seems to be centered around US based firms, so perhaps he sees that as a more optimum market and why they are patented there also. Its a waiting game, its been a tough 12 months, for the company and shareholders. I too had a higher average till recently, I would expect anyone smart enough and invested in 60p shares, will be watching moves very closely
burrows is all about self promotion. ceo of the year is nt really an award. the only ceo's who apply to be considered are *********s like burrows who spend hours filling on the forms. good ceo's know what they are and wouldn't dream of entering such a **** show.
10.8p is a safe bet though you can never get too entitled. Some major shareholders are in for 60p+ .
I'm currently at 10.8p so right about now, I'd bite the hand off 9p!!
That's right, he'll hit his 9p bare minimum. But it remains to be seen if the SP will ever reach 18p.
Looking at his history, his part positions, the team in place with huge backgrounds in the science behind these products.
He will hit that 9p, he won't miss those paychecks
Burrows had messed this up, but I like that although he is in charge his expertise still very much lies in the product, he is a PHD, among a bunch of other titles so its he isn't just an ex head of marketing at some fancy previous job, it's just as much his life's work too. So I'm sure he will feel this as much as any, but I'm sure his high salary helps that burden.
Oh totally agree, and unfortunately Burrows isn't that either and the guy he hired in from the states was a no show for months, took a personal at perhaps the worst time. So i feel for those doctors and scientists seeing this fall to where its at, he owes it to them and the product to make this work, not just the shareholders
Dusty,
Your final line is the one that bothers me though, doctors and scientists are great at doing R&D stuff but once that is done then a seriously effective commercial director needs to take it forward, all too often the doctors and scientists have little genuine appreciation when it comes to the commercial side of things. That's IMO of course.
I know it sounds like I'm ramping it, but as once said we are not selling widgets. I know 404x will be here soon to take the mic, run it down, I can't argue with the direction the company has took, the failures in market direction or the unnecessary ramp by burrows prior to sales declaration.
But we are not qualified to judge how these get to markets, not fully, we can talk the talk but reality is we have a great innovative kit, it's expense is factored in and it may take time.
It's not Rodney and delboy here flogging the next best thing, these are doctors and scientists. Peoffesionals, I plan on letting them just get on with it
Yes, just a brief look back on the website shows ours does a great deal more than just initial screening, so the spit test is great news, for men in general we should be happy.
But it's not a competitor beyond detection I'd like to think, having a spit test, leading into our genome mapping test is a viable route as we are not just screening for detection, but identifying bio markers for suitable treatment plans and certain immune indicators for what will work best, patient to patient. Which i doubt a spit test Will do
Dusty, you may well be correct fwiw
PSA test cost I think is @£100- £200 mark and Spit test cost @£200 mark, PSE 94% test is @£900 mark
OBD must really believe 94% PSE Test offers something significant at that price mark?
Like what cancer, what stage and what treatment stage to start with? I'll have to go back and read thoroughly the benefits, but I'm sure ours do more than just a screening to see cancer present.
We will always have competition and many products coming through, who knows, someone could find the cure. But that doesn't render things obsolete
Look I'm not going to lie that looks a great new screening process, but I'm sure OBD test kit us a little more than just screening, I agree the spit test may present a quicker way to detect early, but doesn't the one we offer, give what stage progression, ideal treatment map outs etc?

PI,
FYI - Saliva Test for Prostate Cancer is in the Transform Trial
The saliva test also identified a higher proportion of aggressive cancers, which are fast growing and likely to spread: 55 percent of cases it identified were aggressive, compared to 35 percent for the PSA test. The spit test was also more accurate than an MRI scan for those with high genetic risk: 119 men in the study had prostate cancer confirmed by a biopsy that was not detected by the MRI.
Some 62 of the 187 cancers diagnosed required treatment and the rest were put on active monitoring. The saliva test, which costs less than £200, will now be evaluated in a £42 million trial of the most promising technology.
The TRANSFORM trial, hailed as the largest prostate cancer screening study in two decades, is poised to pave the way for a national screening programme. Researchers are also exploring other methods such as the PSA test and expedited 12-minute MRI scans.
Any idea when we as shareholders are going to be told if OBD has been chosen? Surely Ms 'Brunch' Burrows is back from vacation and can issue some kind of notice if she isn't too busy?
Could be a mixture, I think we are locked in just waiting for the axe to fall 🤣🤣
Fair enuf +11% didn't last anyway but still +7% fwiw, question remains are they investors or traders buying?
I know, it fluctuates but without substance or information its just going to add insult to injury.
My buys at 5.2p and 5.4p had merit, and with burrows warrants and a potential kick back it seemed in my interest to bring my average to a suitable level from the failings of last years.
Unfortunately silience has created lack of assurance it's still worth purchasing.
It could easily drop 12% in the morning. I'm happy with where I'm at, well not happy but happy to play with the hand I hold now.
I care not his lies, or crasse behaviour
Dusty,
If you had listened to 404x you would be much happier now +11%
And if you're not invested, then why are you here? Telling porkies
Put your dummy back in and stop talking like an idiot, you know full well I'm not about to do that, it's funny how we are both invested in the same company, both at a loss, but your smart and I'm dumb.
A classic scenario on these boards, you're a moron, not because you are stupid, but because you act like one with ridiculous posts like that
