What seems to have caused the fall today is the retail news that people deferred buying Autumn clothes in a warm September - well that problem is resolved . Do Nike make any wellies for us to sell?

As I see things the new planes will help the company retain its competitive edge and in principle a good thing. the flexibility around numbers is useful because there could be too many or too few new planes available depending on how the economies of europe develop and ezj can play it both ways. the sp atm is more likely affected by worries arising from the middlle east and oil price, plus of course Nutmegmilk selling down his holding.

404, I respect your opinion but two things arise, firstly, Diggle cannot realistically be removed from the board because of his large shareholding and frankly , would he want to leave close on £20m invested in a company and not have a seat on the board?Secondly his sales are peanuts to him and investors can see that and will be unphased. We are jolly lucky to have him imv.

404, i think Diggle has such a fantastic track record and obvious acumen we need him on the board and I am comforted by his belief in the company and his financial support thus far.

BC, the real figure is just under 20 because £550m was written off , as I recall for the disposal of some non core businesses. This company will make over £1bn pbt this year and growth beyond that is locked in with recent acquisition of shareholdings in subsidiaries, US and middle eastern expansion. Should do around £2bn pbt within 5 years imv. You can't go wrong here unless ww3 breaks out, in which case we will all be buying new trainers to run asap to the nearest bomb shelters!

Violin, I have the inside track on the audit fiasco, apparently BDO said they would send their most in demand Auditor to do the job, Blind Pete, anyway his guide dog has run off and he can't find his way to the office. The company is training a new one.

Unforeseen circumstances sounds like someone in the audit has a sudden personal issue - no affect on Scancell - just an excuse by the MMs to work the price and make a few bob. Scandellous imv.

Petro, you are telling a pack of lies about this company, it has revenue it turned over £1m in the first 6 months of this year as can be seen from their last interim Results RNS. Please refrain.

JR, they would buy in if they believed that they would get a good return on their capital over the timeframe they had in mind. Just now , I believe there are doubts because the previous growth was non profitable and they would want to see the turnaround completed with a robust plan for growth in implementation. Hoefully confidence will build following next update.

Interesting figures but with RPI at 8.9% , whatever method is used it will be a real terms cut. Frankly the country is on its knees because the government spent too much money and now cannot afford the interest payments. The laughable commentary from the media was that austerity was hurting when in reality we had unfunded expansion. It is only the bond markets that are providing the necessary restraint and heaven only knows what will happen when labour get elected!

Lots of debate on here about day traders etc, well the real point is growing a company, making profits for investors etc. , all of which takes time - give it a year or so and we shall see how it develops or otherwise.

Rocka, the numbers will be released with the accounts. This is a tiny company that does not have the luxury of a large accounts department. What it does have is an impressive client list, e.g Lululemon that other retailers are trying to emulate and that bodes well for the future. As for cash, like most companies trying to expand they are investing it in projects that will enable growth. Your point about the company fund raising recently from an existing source is correct - but why go elsewhere and pay more? For me there are risks here but the expansion is real and I believe shareholders will be rewarded - we shall see.

Jed, interest rates are rising this week on the bond market and that will knock onto mortgage rates. There will be no cuts for at least 1 year imv, unless ww3 breaks out, at which point the housing market will certainly dive!

The company does seem to be expanding nicely into europe whilst growing in the UK, key question is will the market get behind it and lift the sp or sit on the sidelines waiting for the next numbers? Mcap so low this could rise by a multiple.

Great update but most of increase has come from fx movement - so not likely to keep happening.
