Hi Dan, My take on the last 12 Months
*MCAP = - Slightly up
*SP slightly down
*Stabilised the finances ...we were close to the edge 12 months ago
* Sold the Rig and equipment to help finances ....is that planning permission in and the property on the market?...and what's happening with Midas (is it a nice ornament in Adam's garden, will we sell it or use it at Tambo?)
*Canned the Hurricane RTO (thankfully ....that would have been a disaster).
*Pushed forward the Blue Mountain testing (looks promising , but lack of next steps after metallurgical testing not clear so the market is not excited).
* New license at Kondaparinga
* initial testing at Tambo....with diamond drilling to come shortly (why diamond ????? ;-)
* Tax Credits - They have at least taken advice and action with Argonaut marketing the credits unlike previous BODs who have just referenced it (this will be a financial game changer IF it happens, until then the market are not excited).
* Good drilling results in the 2 Creswick drilling campaigns and some broader veins discovered ....again excitement waned with no next steps).
* Baillieston Antimony had superb results....but it was from only 3 sample and I don't think anyone here has enough technical knowledge on Antimony to know if that is enough to entice a JV partner.
*Lolworth - Has constantly delivered good results and the company have pushed forward will a lot of initial testing. It's early stage testing at the moment. Will be interesting to see the rest of the results from the sampling and trenching (we have only had the early initial results from this season's testing). REE and Niobium sites being tested and some drilling planned this year. We know that they have had 'conversations' with the neighbours to the east.
Helium - Well no-one saw that coming. Doesn't look like a VOY tie up ...Honestly I don't know WTF to make of it (and if it is positive or negative)...another unclear plan.
Overall in 12 months I think most/all would say that the SP performance is disappointing.
I would argue that for the decent operational progress that ECR have made over the last 12 months it is below where it should be.
The general problem is that there are a number of potential game changers, but there is either a lack of a clear forward plan (BM, Creswick) to add value, or it's an all or nothing (Baillieston JV, Tax Credits). Progress in Lolworth has been good, but at an early stage, maybe we will get some momentum there with the rest of the sampling results (gold and REE) and drilling later in the year.
If one of those game changers/ deals gets over the line then Nick & Mike will be heroes....until then the SP will continue to run in the same channel as the last 10 months barring good drilling results or other positive news.
