ECR overview6 Nov 2024 10:45
As we have a number of new investors I thought I would give a very quick overview of the ECR assets:
Tax Credits;
- Obviously the asset of the moment, a$75m in Tax Credits held by MGA (an ECR subsidiary) . These are worth about £9.2m-£11.2m to any buyer in tax savings. We have at least 5 parties now under NDA with one in exclusivity. Mike W has hinted that a deal could be done soon. Any deal will need to include a or some non-core assets as part of the deal.
Blue Mountain - Alluvial at/near surface resource (easy to extract) estimated by previous holders to be 100k oz of gold Mike W hinting there may be more) . Can be easily extracted by gravity method and independent report shows 91% recovery which is excellent .....100k oz with 91% extraction at $2700/oz = $246m. Commercial viability and resource estimate is being worked on . Assume this will be funded by Tax Credit sale and are looking to go into production in 2025 making ECR self funding+.
Lolworth
900km2 license with excellent initial results for gold sampling. Pegmatites are on the license containing Lithium, Tantalum , Niobium and other REEs. A geological group from the Queensland state government is assisting with surveying as ECRs license has been identified as an area of interest. This has been desribed by the company previously as "A potential world class resource"
Tambo :
Excellent sampling results earlier in the year led to the current drilling programme which is underway . Initial signs look good with pathfinders identified....we await the results.
Creswick:
Contains 12km of the Dimmock Main Shale. There have been multiple drilling programmes here with the latest showing better widths of gold. The gold is nuggety in nature.
Baillieston : Drilling results were tested earlier in the year with excellent Antimony results, albeit at depth. Did stir a lot of interest.
Black Cat, Blue Moon, HR3 and Cherry Tree; We have drilled a lot at HR3 with so so results. Blue Moon had excellent initial drilling results , but a second drilling programme showed these did not extent......all of these may fall in the 'non-core' category
Kondaparinga - In the Hodgkinson gold fields and adjacent to the Hurricane project that they tried to sell to ECR for £5m+ last year . Good geology. License applied for , awaiting confirmation it has been granted.
Avoca (and a couple of others):
we sold this to a subsidiary of the company that owns Fosterville. we can receive up to a$2m in payments when milestones are hot. I believe that a resource estimate is due in Q1 next year which could trigger a payment of up to half that amount.
Property ;
We still have a property that is getting planning permission and we are looking to sell that in Creswick
Danglay:
We own the Danglay project in the Philippines which has a NI resource estimate. Unfortunately the political situation in Philippines means that foreign owned mines are difficult to progress ... so no value ther
