Member Info for Supercharger

Every day the RNS refers to buy backs (for a small amount be 25) in a continued operation and this will start to gain momentum. I suppose I do not blame the management to do this in stages as they are making the most of the share price where really it should have shot up already in anticipation! Sometimes one has to be patient and if they are buying every day the momentum will build and an upward adjustment will be eventually due and reflected.

If buying back on a daily basis of 25m that will lead to a bonus one way or the other. I elected to keep all of my shares as the price offer was not any benefit to me. and so I was told by my broker to expect some form of bonus and if it is a raised share price then that is fine for me. I expect with the buy back taking place now on an elected daily basis as I expected and said yesterday the price will gain tremendously. We have seen it all before such as with Glencore and ors. Time will tell how this plays out but I suspect many on here may get a surprise as when I said to my broker I would be keeping all of my shares which look a good investment on the proposals they did not disagree!!

We should see after a few days of buy back a very positive response to this share price. The buy back has it appears only just started on a daily 25m basis and a correction to yesterdays fall is already underway. Great price to enter in my opinion and as many have said Capricorn have more than one string to their bow! Great opportunity and value at the moment, especially when as mentioned yesterday a divi is due to shareholders for unused funds from the USD1B allocated where only a % is being used for the buy back!

The offer of returning monies of USD1B to shareholders was explained to me by my broker as being a part buy back with the remaining amounts due back as a divi to shareholders. I can see therefore the price reduction today reflects the divi due? I am happy to wait ALSO in the knowledge the Company cannot have expected the Oil prices to have been what they are today and so perhaps we can expect another announcement soon on projected results? So I might even Top up TBH and at a cheaper price we look even better value than yesterday!

Must admit I was expecting a rise following the RNS. Less shares in circulation and even a great broker upgrade? Maybe it is selling from those who expected to gain a better price before the event and decided not to wait for the divi due aswell? Or it is the divi talking and it is far better than we were expecting so that decrease or divi earn't is now written into the price as earned? Any way I am still pleased to be in here at the moment and expect us to come back very soon and we have now a good divi to come? fingers crossed!

Looks like we were right to stay in this one and glad the posts are working in the right direction.

Hi Slater -looks like the BOE rate increase by .25% to combat 5.5% inflation is helping the hedge and currency balance against the USD? Uk news reports are the BOE expect UK inflation to hit as high as 8% -well above their 2% target.
Gold/Silver prices up a little as we speak on SPOT and COMEX might help us later this afternoon?

Still going up tonight -no doubt the hair raising will be from the shorts (if ever any of them were mad enough to do so to a precious metals miner when there is a war going on).
Still everyone takes their cut I suppose - whatever way the wind is blowing! ha.ha.

The anticipated rate was actually half of what was expected by the market and therefore my comments were very accurate to be honest. You need to follow what was said and you will find exactly what happened was. Perhaps give some credit where it was due rather than rant and rave like a short.
With default coming soon from the Russians you might even want to own some precious metal miners-who knows?

Bloomberg latest news! Biden calls Putin a war criminal and will provide armed drones to Ukraine. UN have asked Russia to stop the bombardment of Ukraine. I am happy to stay in the safe havens for the time being.

I still feel a strong buy on this one where the .25% Fed rise was in the end half of what many had projected in the financial markets. I have a feeling they tampered back on the increase at the current time - maybe a wise decision. It will be good to see where Gold/Silver now go but I have a feeling if markets anticipated a bigger increase the precious metals will benefit and rise even further from here. Lets see.

Sorry - to finish the Russian Govt -looks like it will default on its USD promises -which may affect market sentiment.

Very good point chaps but I will add the following in support of a no rate rise or very low rate (which may surprise mkts) where some are expecting a .050% rise maybe .25% or even .15% will be a short term hold? :-
Covid is now back in the far east with substantial infections back in Hong Kong and with China increasing again. (Another new variant has bene found recently).
Increased rates will slow down growth and increase borrowing costs (even the USA govt. borrow at the moment).
It also does not appear as if the Dollar needs support (during a war where it also has safe haven status).
Also looks like the Russian goivt will have to default on it sown

Not so sure now? What do others feel? Even though Gold is still up 12.75% on the year it may not be done yet? Cheaper Dollar will help us here I am sure.

We are in a war situation in Europe where growth according to forecasts will be less by some margin, and so does anyone really believe or have a feeling like me that the Fed might actually wait for any rate increase, or if they do give on a .50% rise originally projected - but perhaps 0.25% at the most? Gold/Silver will then respond into positive territory perhaps as a result? However looking at Gold this morning it is still up 12.75% on the year in any case.

I also happened to notice today that Bloomberg reports a Russian minister speaking our that Sweden and Finland should not even consider joining NATO? Perhaps this may give an indicate of what is hidden behind the Iron Curtain? I cannot believe it is just because the LADA NIVA needs an update?

I see on Bloomberg today a headline that Sweden and Finland should not be considering joining NATO. Perhaps they consider those two countries a threat, or Europe needs to re-consider its position? Either way as has been said the Gold market is the ultimate safe haven and it would appear the end of the special operations are not in sight.

The FCA say no Bitcoin ATM's have any license to operate and must close down. I wonder if this is a start of weeding out anonymous usage?

All BIT Coin ATM's to be shut down in the UK as they are operating without any license!? May be the start of making it more transparent and the start of traditional trading in Gold as the safe haven and therefore increase demand over crypto?
