For growth and income lets not forget the 10p (approx) divi per share coming ex-divi on 1/9/22- so not long to go for that too and no doubt the fund managers have that already labelled to go for on income soon!

Looks like HL are showing Esken today up 14% so we may be seeing green shoots of recovery in the markets. I am also watching this share as are many others I am sure. A great opportunity here once she starts moving it is likely to be fast!

Must make this stock worth more - Bloomberg put up the post that the award was yesterday. Good news for the Company making inroads in Brazil with the Brazilian govt. Infrastructure project agreed too.

I think I will start buying on the dips with this one! In time Marston's will be making an announcement I am sure. GLA

Bloomberg put up a flier today that Carlsberg have announced increased Beer sales and an upgrade for future results. I wonder if this will filter through to the Carlsberg - Marstons Joint Partnership where Mars have a slice?

Agree increased share from Van E - could be a an offer coming? We do look cheap on earnings and divi's etc. lets be honest!

See also a very encouraging set of results from Compass where HL report a doubling of underlying income. COuld help raise the sector profile as the good news continues.

Always a professional outfit at Lloyd's and with the prospect of higher interest rates in fact the margin between Underwriting premiums and claims is likely to get even better with increased income from interest on premiums and reinsurance claims in particular take some time to come though (perhaps a couple of years) to settle, which means generally the outlook looks good for Lloyd's syndicates whose earnings on premiums will outweigh claims costs (where claims take time to settle). GLA -great return to form for Beazley they must have a very good portfolio and broker base.

Marstons can now deliver up to 10,000 pints per day by Electric lorries -savings diesel costs? Trial looks interesting as sales will increase in hot weather so they previously have reported. If in May they were meeting 97% of 2019 sales then maybe the sunnier times will help them further - Maybe we should have a further update on sales soon? GLA.

If Easy cannot book any more summer flights due to Heathrow up to capacity it follows they could extend operations at Southend from the 3 routes that they currently operate to Spain.

Stifel reported an upgrade to buy today for Capricorn (who were the highest riser in the FTSE 350 early doors) this should help raise the Tullow profile and price later if they are considered "one" the NYSE futures have also turned for the positive. We should see a return to form here later-perhaps?

Up over 3% this morning (were this morning the highest rising FTSE 350 comp) and when I looked into further found Stifel have upgraded their rating to buy, and what with the them based in the states we could see an interesting rise here later. Perhaps they have an interest here already in advance of their upgrade that they wish to build upon? Or are just encouraging other investors to join the party? -interesting?

Looks like someone is out there possibly from abroad buying huge chunks after the U/C. and after close. This take over offer is perhaps raising some additional interest! I'm staying well and truly in here.

Must now be a strong buy - for the big boys will also look at this and I have been thinking for sometime we will see some consolidation in the Oil production industry. The fit to me might work with Tullow if they are able to compete with the bigger boys but I suspect they will now both be taken over by one of the big boys instead of Tullow. I think I need to top up here before everyone and his dog gets wind of it, and before a bidding war starts!! GLA

Grey Monk - check out short tracker web site as this gives you the sp. for all shorts on uk mkt but MW reduced recently May 2022 to 0.69% and once below 0.50% even short tracker does not record-so nothing here to speak about. I can see them selling before H2 numbers come out where it has been said sales are expected to improve. However it would be good to have some warmer weather and another Football tournament?

Fair trader exactly what I was thinking the connection with Coltrane may be more for the Carlsberg JV. if interest from the states. However this might bring them around to look at Mars considering the strength of the USD and a re-valuing process for the pubs where it was reported on the presentation that they may have increased? Who knows?

Remember they have tie up in the states with USA craft beer? Which creates interest. No shorts here please -even MW reduced recently and soon will be below the 0.50% regn mark on short tracker. At least we are now making money withe growth in sales expected when H2 results come out.

Looking forward is the key to me here now. H2 is looking for increased profits from takings as we have turned into the black. Sounds like sales improve in the hotter weather too, and many costs are under control and pegged with sales picking up. I am pretty sure once we get a positive H2 we will be on the rise and no doubt if anyone s stalking they will have to be quick as the share price is liable to rise inline with a sustained profit growth. Divis likely to return to shareholders once growth is sustained. At the moment we are building on momentum and fingers crossed this can continue. Divi to the company expected from the brewing company delayed but will be quite substantial if the £20m mentioned is real.

Looking forward to the shareholders/investors meeting tomorrow. Returning to profits no doubt will be the focus, which could have been a lot more if our Welsh friends had come out of lockdown at the same time as England. However I wonder if there is going to be any other more recent interesting news coming? Understand home beer sales have been doing rather well recently too -perhaps our European friends will be there too to advise and update on the beer consolidation and brewery production?

Lets face it we know how big the North Sea fields are, and useful for the future. Also about those off Mexican with the untapped Venezuelan potentials with the USA showing some compassion towards further development now away from Russia. Egypt is already producing and this is the Country where the Uk has previously been one of the biggest investors - so all looks good for the future but I agree we have also been very patient considering the other major comps rising in the sector. We could also become a take over target and I am expecting an announcement as the politicial problems appear to now be behind us in India.
