The Chancellor only 5 mins ago said his budget was designed to give people confidence well I must say he did that for Hospitality and for the Uk encouraging Internal flights and hospitality. The UK is now the fastest growing economy in Europe!

Rishi -Made headlines yesterday in large print giving positive direction to hospitality which Analysts/Accountants/Banks will work with. Sentiment improved for this sector which was the reason for the share rise yesterday of over 6% and early rise this morning. Profit takers moved in but I am sure the path is now upward and lets face it the future is now better post budget than it was before!

The Govt announced yesterday it was there to help the UK airports with low cost loans (if required) and what it has released has. There is no way now that Southend will fail. The small low cost service providers will see a tremendous benefit here and what with the duties for short haul being reduced many are re-considering their options. When I last looked Wizz were operating from Southend a month ago when I was looking for flights and the cargo side was doing well. I see a brighter future post budget now for Southend and Esken who also are now operating a very interesting Bio-Mass Power generation plant that is very competitive on price with the rising Gas/energy prices. Even hospitality is being encouraged. The market thinks so too.

Really like the 50% Business rate cut for HOSPITALITY too!!
This for certainly help Marstons more than most to drive in a higher profit margin and with a turbo boost with expected increased sales of pints compared to spirits that are to be liable for increased levies. "Off sales" will increase too to add to the recent positive Company release!.

Duty cut by 50% for Hospitality / leisure and lower duties on beer compared to spirits will kick start the UK Brewing and hospitality sectors. I like both Whitbread and Marstons.
The 50% cut in Uk internal flight duties will also help Esken (The old Stobart group too) and Uk sales of drink at the Uk airports. It appears to me Rishi has his hand on the pulse.

Internal UK flights have their duty cut by 50% in the budget will kick start the flights I am sure. Especially when looking at the cost of petrol and diesel to go by car? The costs and time will be very competitive. I am watching the development here. Also Rishi spoke of help to the airports - this will help Esken I am sure and until the Ireland crises is sorted with the EU Esken still have chance with the Esken idea. Wizz could be expanding soon, they were after Easyjet as everyone knows!

With talk of how much diesel and petrol costs are now on the road the chancellor referred to cheaper internal flights which will help cargo go north as this will become a cheaper/quicker option that by lorry! I see a lot going for Esken here now could be a cute buy!

Two of my friends have their own aircraft at Southend and Wizz are still there. Ryan Air not left yet and Easy talking of a return. Cargo internal flights could well become in vogue again between London and Carlisle where the application has gone in for a free port to serve Ireland/Wales and Scotland.

Rishi mentioned help to brewers as well as hospitality just the injection this industry needed. Should help off sales too with lower tax on lower alcohol drinks to encourage Beer sales over spirits. Should see an uptick here I am sure, as well as Whitbread I suppose.

RATES BEING CUT FOR INTERNAL UK FLIGHTS and less rates/duties for shorter haul. This will help Esken formally Stobart Group and the owners of Southend and still joint owners with Carlisle Group of Carlisle a/port. Great news!

Suspect the return to form on the back of general pub sector results/upside i.e. Whitbread could be the reason for the upward sentiment. Lets hope we continue but perhaps the Chancellor who enjoys a pint will help further tomorrow when he opens his leather brief case!!

Welcome addition to what looks like an improving demand filled environment -should help year end results (with good projection) and a turnaround of greater efficiencies at "Snip" British Colombia Canada. (Perhaps over looked by Barrick!)

Must make this a stronger buy and glad to have addressed to debt ceiling for a month expectation of increase in prices - about time!

Still see this as a buy -still talk about USA rates "only" being raised at the end of next yr!

See Barclays USA benefitting from lower household risks and increased householders income, rather than no income, also larger infrastructure projects to go ahead for the time being as the economy tries to get a further kick start.
Barclays like the US Banks will benefit in lower riskier assets and less reserves being required to off set from increasing profits! IMHO.

Hi Mystic - yes really good package that from the No1 acft engine manufacturers and developer in the World in my opinion after serving in the aviation insurance industry for 37 years I can tell you they are the safest and when I am flying I get satisfaction from seeing the RR Logo on the side of the engine cowlings!
The new engines now talk to the factory every minute and give an update as to their performance (in other words any problems are found and notified prior to them happening. The first the airline will know is a call from the assignment engineer. Also operate over 250 service centres all around the world not only service their own engines but other engine manufacturers engines as well. I am very proud of RR to be honest and the partnerships they have with most major a/cft manufacturers/suppliers.

Also the "house" has finally approved the temp.debt ceiling increase and the price of Gold and Silver is flying up! If the dollar falls this should be the icing on the cake - I see no rate increases in the USA and if GBP does benefit of the rate increase projected for December the GBP will rise against the falling dollar and we should again respond very positively. Th out look therefore for Fresnillo is one of improvement in my opinion. Now a better call for investment!

Also they have said recently they would clamp down on bit coin as the Chinese have done. I would prefer to be in a GBP derived Precious metal miner than bit coin to be honest. Future now looks like support for Gold/Silver and less for the USD.
Fed will be very restricted now and they cannot stop the limit growth their is. They need the participation rate to rise first - no sign of full employment where the employment level has in fact reduced by 700k. Gold/silver will be supported form some time yet IMHO. It will be good to see where we are in a months time.
