Sounds like we may even get back the USD1B owed by the India Govt, hope so. I bought two allocations at £2.10 and £2.07 and so suspect this share price has a long way to come back yet and it is moving fast! Fingers crossed. I suppose the higher commodity prices help too, this must be a strong buy at this price. We should be at least £220 plus in my opinion.

I.e if the BOE raises rates what happens -well it may be Building firms and Right move/Estate agents fall, but Banks and any Gold miner you know with 300M in the bank converted to GBP might benefit? Especially if you add in that Sterling is likely to rise and the Dollar will fall in comparison which usually helps precious metals miners? So it may not be a bad thing if the Uk govt raises rates, but lets not kid ourselves they will not raise more than a 0.25 to begin with anyway so not much difference there then, one thing is for sure the Divis being paid by Fres, and Centamin, etc are worth far more for an income than any UK bank account can offer at the moment -so it pays to stick with share investment with ones cash!

I know their latest engines are monitored by the factory and just like in the Farming industry the first the Carrier will know of a problem is when the Factory engineer calls in to check over the engine.
The BR211 engine is still used all over the world for generating electricity too, and the new mini nuclear power stations will soon be required the rate elect.cars are being sold, and crypto currencies are tracked, etc. 2,000 armed forces use a manor of prods from RR including helicopter engines, submarines, the list goes on. They also partner a number of other comps around the world including BMW which is why Vickers would not sell the RR car name to VW when VW bought Crewe but an agreement was found for BMW to start new BMW and VW to have Crewe and the Bentley name-interesting! The electric aircraft engines may be the thing of the future they are also developing as you may know with the jet combustion engines being converted to bio fuel. Lots to look forward to. Out of choice I would always chose an airline with RR engines on the wing it gives a comfort factor! As they also service 75% of all commercial jet engines they must be very busy at the moment with airlines starting to move craft again or at lest in preparation to do so.

I worked in the Aviation market at Lloyd's as a broker, Underwriter and adjuster. They are looked upon my me after serving the AVN MKT for 37 years as the No1. In Aviation engine, and servicing for their own and for other engines with over 250 service centres all around the world. Their engines hardly ever fail in flight and the latest ones are talking to Derby 24 hrs a day. They are also many govt's and the Arabs preferred choice for far more than just Jet and nuclear turbines. No one else comes close. If I had my way they would/could double this silly price per share in one day. Lets see where we go but like you I am here for the longer term. In five years time I will review the position, like with most of my shares!

Rolls now are already back in profits for the 1st half of the year and caught everyone on the hop in the process. Rolls will now fly, excuse the pun, and so will we very soon! I also see Melrose, ICAG all up too and it will not be long now for us to return to pax. numbers swarming in here from Europe especially when one cannot quickly get their pax. through the other three big 3 airports. If you feel Esken will fail why do you come on here -unless you are shorting? The Whole world and his staffie can see this! Lots of money to be made here in the aviation sector if you ask me. IMHO!

Marston's moving up good, but also watch Rolls Royce as I said before when it fell on death ears. Now in profit for the 1st Half by a Billion Squids. However good to see most of mine are up today - life is good!
Whitbread up, Compass too. I can now even afford to full up the Silver Spur with fuel, ha.ha and leave the Tesler on the grid! Ha.ha.

Yes that's right in its home Mexican market I see on central time Fres was up! As we said before some day wonders sold too early.

Comex futures now up over USD26oz so we should respond later I can see Hochschild already now moving up!!

Olwsie you may have taken the UBS bait as Silver soon to jump through USD26 oz (currently spot 25.97) and we would normally rise up form that level quite fast. Perhaps anyone selling here this morning as we said was far too early. This is a stock to review in One Months time we might even be up 30%!!

Spot on JMT -Bloomberg just announced Job claims missed estimates and the US govt. is to talk later regarding monetary policy. We can expect President Biden's stimuli idea more likely to gain approval now and help raise the prices of Silver and Gold further from here. This will compound the Uk precious metal miners already impressive results. They were also talking recently about taxing undeclared cash as in crypto - which again will help the Gold/Silver demand.

I can see they now have some very highly qualified Aviation sector personnel. I did not realise they had the ex-Luton Airport chairman as a executive Director, so they are well placed to use that experience of expansion when it comes.

I have not actually sold any Hoc, Centamin, Fres or any other share this year to be honest. I prefer to buy for the longer term. ie. 5/6 yrs ago everyone sold Thomas Cook I bought in big time. However I did sell when I had made a packet and never went back in. I usually only sell at yr end to reduce ones Capital gains which is always a problem for my wife and I. However this year I sold the banks and kept the miners and tourist/avn firms. I see the big gains in this market. We only need "one" announcement that after the kids have been vaccinated in the Uk that all short hauls are back on and with Stansted and the other big two unable to cope with checks and Southend will be back on in the game. Not too long to go. Sometimes a business is worth more on "goodwill" than the price on paper and I see this with Esken. However that is my opinion all entitled to their own obviously. Good luck.

I am not so fooled by coming down for some baited prey! I.e. The results do not lie and Gold and Silver starting to move up again today too in expectation of US stimuli!
A snippet from Yesterdays release on Morning Star yes the official notification agency to the LSE :
The precious metals miner posted revenue for the first half of 2021 of USD1.47 billion, up 39% on a year ago. Cost of sales rose at a slower pace, up 17% to USD860.1 million. This helped pretax profit to triple to USD445.4 million from USD127.9 million a year ago.

I expect this as early as this afternoon -fingers crossed. By the way as the USA move towards more stimuli the Gold and Silver price might even get a leg up from here! I am very happy to be in this share for the longer term-after the results and see longer term sustained and even increased profits than we have even had released at half yr. Expect the Brokers to hold this shares when their broker upgrades come out very soon!! Good luck be patient!

Just be patient I found on Acacia Mining taken when taken over by Barrick there were times when the price was going down for no explained reason such as we have here. I was told by more than one experienced broker that that was most likely due to a shortage of stock and they will sell for a short time to encourage the day traders to do the same, and then they will buy more of the stock back (at a lower price) to close off their orders. Every trade needs a buyer and a seller if there are no sellers the price will go up. So I am not selling one share and will either wait or in fact buy some more. This afternoon the FTSE traders might not be able to control the price as the West comes on board so be prepared we will level out as the NYSE opens. Be patient is the word and it will pay off. IMHO.

I have no worries I might have £20-£30k in here but put in a spread across all of the airline travel comps likely to benefit of the turnaround as it comes back. I am in ICAG, RR, Melrose, Esken and are already starting to make headway on one or two. I know in time some of those shares mentioned are likely to double in price. There is no money to be made without risk. I suppose over the years to have done very well when others have feared to tread so time will tell on this one, but if not my others will win anyway. So one needs to spread the risks, but in my mind the risks are worth taking when the opportunity arises. Good luck all.

We should respond later if any dealers are trying to hold us back it will not last. The momentum will take over. Longer term this now a very cheap to buy share at this price vs the results issued this morning. i.e. 450% Increase for 1st qtr - come on!
