Where'as my opinion for this share that I was trading years ago at between £5 and £7 a share is strong buy, that does not mean Barrick have to buy us all out. In fact they and I will benefit if Barrick simply manage the operations in Tanzania, obviously Acacia Management have more than enough in the kitty if MB wants to even move out there himself. He obviously gets on well with the GOT. We will all benefit with the export ban lifted lifting the share price significantly to over £5 a share again. Our own Management can then concentrate on developing Kenya - There you are all sorted. Get your Tent ready MB.

The market moved our share price in anticipation of a deal up to £256.60 and then Acacia said they still had not received a proposal from Barrick whereupon we drifted lower for 30 odd days before Barrick suddenly said based on the past 30 day average we will make a low ball offer. However since then we have climbed back towards £2 and one must say if we did not have the Barrick tactics we would be up to £3 by now from £256.60. Increased production and reserves means they now have to be serious. At this rate I also want my dividends reinstated.

I my family had made profits for 300 years and only lost for 10 why would I complain if I had kept money back for my reserves for the bad years and bought R/i. protection.
If you were on risk it did not matter if you were old or new money you were on the same risks. It is what you did with your own reserves and protections that was the key in my opinion. i.e. If you paid for R/I. protection you may have made lower profits but have protection in the bad years, however some new members allegedly went for broke and made more short term and then obviously lost more than if they had been safer. Just like shares if you gamble you may make some money short term but if you want long term gains you need to operate carefully with not all of your eggs in one basket.

Reserves up, Production up and Gold price up.
To be honest they have done well not talking to either Barrick or the Govt of Tanzania-Keep it up!! Sometimes actions and results speak loader than words.

Yes the road does ring bells and not far away at all. My father had a very good friend who was a retired Headmaster was that your relative? Up near the roundabout at the top? If so its now a large detached dwelling worth a few million. For Lloyds the problem I felt was over exposure and people not buying stop loss policies, however some of the riskier policies are also not now written. Most investors are now corporate but private investors have tax advantages and so if they are prepared to pay for Reinsurance it could be worth while. I also felt many thought they were wealthy enough to be members but were more new money than old. For instance someone whose had invested for 300 years would say I made money for 290 years, someone who had invested for 10 or less might say I lost all my money. Do you see what I mean? Only my opinion but if in doubt I would give my money to Prudential and invest most out of the Uk at the moment.

In addition to the fantastic result in Tanzania and whilst we await to hear further about the new mines in Kenya, the Gold price is back up again today and over the 1400oz level again. -Happy days!!

We can all now see the potential under Acacia Management -the GOT need to reconsider their loyalties if they want an efficient Company in Tanzania. Hopefully soon we will also start outside of Tanzania.

Mark, yes I grew up there myself to be honest and used to delivery my paper round and garden for spare cash when at school. There are some very exclusive Estates there Farnborough Park, Holwood Park, Keston Park, Ninham Wood, and some of the other roads I know too. Lots of famous people in there. I don't recall your Pucks Cottage, but I am sure Dad is surviving in the good fresh air we have on the coast here. Yes I think the SE london fighting spirit lives on. Yes I remember when I was broking one Lloyd's Underwriter saying to me "where do you live sonny" and I said "Locks Bottom" and he said "never heard of it, I've heard of Pratts Bottom" and then I said "yes I know but that is closer to you than me" ha. ha. The GOT wanted reduced foreign Management control well Acacia have reduced this by 87%.
Usd92m invested in Social improvement for communities around the mines, Usd8.8m in strategic social investment, investment in local teaching and healthcare, the future lies working together and yet Barrick and the GOT you say we do not talk I feel the only one not talking is Barrick -I do not feel GOT you will get more from Barrick and if you lift the export ban on composites that can be monitored for their content you will actually gain more not less. Think about it.

You know it, I know it and everyone else knows it. They have two days left and rather be talking to the press they should be cracking open their piggy bank and then consulting with their financial advisers to lend them twice what they have offered.
I would like us to now see their low ball offer made official and just buy them out on the push me pull me. At the moment all they show me is a "doctor do little."

Chaps talk is cheap and we know how freely MB talks to the press but will not talk with Acacia. I wonder if another game is being played here don't be fooled by 500m. or anything else, they need to get serious and let the money do the talking. They have two days to crack open that piggy bank and that's all, this could be another plot for more time. I hope on 9th that's it, and they can fall back in as being just a major shareholder and that's all. I would cancel the agreement for them to negotiate Company business the time frame for them has been the extended and the offer period which expires on 9th.

Barrick have from memory only a couple of working days left and certainly not able to sell any other assets to fund this purchase. The sales from the Massawa would not be enough anyway clearly that is just a very small venture (unlike ours).
They will have to dig deeper for ours and I think they are being too clever and have waisted 2 years of negotiation. They need to move over and let Acacia start proceedings against them and the GOT for breach of the signed contracts we have in place,.

Crazy thing is Gold is just below 1400oz, But USD is up on US job nos. which means our income will also grow as Gold is rated in USD, I see Gold is now up over 18% for the year converted into GBP.

Franky and all, I am not stuck in Tanzania and I see great opportunities outside of Tanzania. The more I read about the drilling the more I can see actually Acacia do seem to know what they are about.
Lets see what we can do to broaden our horizons I am hoping for a move forward to the post in the 1Qtr re. Estimates to start in Kenya being sort, to We now start!! Then we are not right in front of a bulldozer and do not depend on one form of income as the Arbitration gets underway. I really do not know why Acacia asked for an extension they have wasted their time.

I can see if we have increased production this will really help the price recover what with the increased Gold reserves. I can also see that Acacia will also be holding this back to keep their powder dry to fire when the timing is right, and this will really push our price higher. Am i right in that Barrick now over have two days left next week.

Agree what a great release we have signifying increased Gold reserves which makes us worth more money lets be honest, and also a note of the amazingly good quality of the ore itself, a double whamming! The Barrick offer indicative price is now old and completely out of date, once the time limit expires or as projected when the offer is refused we will be moving up in anycase.
Great relief to see yet again the Barrick statement of reduced reserves was a complete load of ******ks and as you say Acaciatan our senior Management have their heads on when they prove by drilling, not hearsay that their figures are on track, or even better than previously forecast when Barrick made their offer. I am now wondering where were the composites now held in storage originally being taken for processing - it wouldn't have gone to Barrick at all would it, as obviously their figures are not as accurate as what Acacia try to do. Acacia are being totally open and honest here as they can provide proofs. I would suggest it is not them being dishonest about the Composites either.
