Barnety, the buy/sell data is largely nonsense. Just watch the share price. If it goes up then the bulls are in charge, if it falls, then sellers are driving the movement. PI's love the buy/sell data, but really you should pay attention to the SP.

I agree Wily, managements lack of confidence is crystalised in the statement that they are minded to recommend an offer of 35p per share. When is the limit of the extension for Sidara to make a decision?

Oh, meant to say that I found the RNS upbeat and encouraging. But we're still swimming in treacle.

I'm assuming it won't happen, but if the divi was rejected at the AGM, that wouldn't do the SP any favours. If we could get shot of the bloo dy EPL (which as carefully stated in the RNS is a nonsense with low oil prices) then our tax credits on the basic tax rates would put us in a great position to progress. By the look of things though, the government doesn't want us to progress. I guess, they've even stated that overtly with Milliband's drive for net zero Jobs in Aberdeen.

Boyo, I'm not up to speed on the tech really (more TA/Chart opportunities for me), but I feel the same, is there an disruptive competitor building something better/cheaper? either openly or somehow below the radar. Logically, this type of tech seems to have a good future, with business relying increasingly on tight margins, but for the moment the takeup seems slow.

Was it you sittingduck with the idea about pattern with a 160 target? That was a pretty good call. Sadly, I think we're back off to 150. Looks to me as if the next leg down is close to starting.

Good trade Stille. I'm just watching EZJ at the moment (I have a limit sell at 560 or so but it's small). I have some holdings elsewhere but have moved to 25% cash and am waiting now, I can't make head nor tail of the wider markets. For EZJ, I still think 370 or so is a distinct possibility (hence starting a small short if it triggers). Based solely on my view of charts/TA. I doubt it'll be a popular view, but as TT says, that's what discussion boards are for. If we were to exceed 562, then 580 or higher looks feasible and I'd probably add short if that were to happen.

Richy, I think we'll see further falls in the short term. Possibly rise to 562 or above, then a good fall back.

Seeking, it's coming from MKS results this morning (RNS). Forward looking there seems to be positivity, currently despite increases in orders and revenue (ca 15%), active customers and purchase frequency, they're not making a profit (28million loss). Blaming it on 'high service delivery costs' and continuing lease and technology fees for the old Hatfield site.

Banbury, I don't think it helped us here that the CEO said he's minded to accept the 35p offer. Even if you're right about future cashflows, that statement alone suggests that he thinks the problems are pretty serious. At that price, assuming the convenant waivers can be dealt with and free cashflow improves, I'm hoping that we do see an alternative suitor.

Interesting volume profile yesterday. If you look at 2h time periods, then volume was quite high at 3-5pm then again at 5pm on to close. Both look to be associated with a rise in price. But, when you look at the detail then there's a 15 min period with good volume at 15:45-16:00 associated with a rise in price but a spread of 68.4 to 70.2, then a much larger volume at 17:15 associated with a small fall in price but again a very large spread of 68.4 to 70.3. If you look at the price action, it looks like selling met by limit buys. Potentially it could be a very small number of players wanting to buy at 68.4. Maybe someone with a view on next weeks results. But that's just speculation. It's an interesting bit of action going on. Might be worth watching closely this afternoon.
