Very good volume on that break of 260/258 whatever your prefence. I attempted a short as I think 235 is likely, but have dropped that on the break on volume. Back to watching and waiting for me.

Makes a big difference that they've started to pay a dividend. At least we're getting some payment for supporting the company. Could still do with a a few pence rise in the SP though.

Getting close to the deadline Surin. June 12th Sidara must either extend again or walk away. That's only 6 days. I assume that they want the accounts signed off first so it's going down to the line. I'm guessing there will be another extension.

I'm hoping WG comes out of this ok for us as SH's. But I'd be cautious about believing that WG taking on new business is synonymous with WG SH's being safe. Theoretically SH's could be wiped out and WG could continue to operate just fine and even relist at a future date. The new business suggests that those companies engaging in new contracts with WG believe they will continue to operate. They are not worried about WG SH's.

Chid's post went a decent way down one narrative. It lacked the last 2 steps that make the difference between making money and losing money on the markets. He/she either knows that or doesn't .

I noticed that delivery was very recent, so I wondered if the capacity increase wasn't really important for this period. Otherwise, no I'm not aware of limited access to their fleet. It's not a share I follow per se, but I check the RNS's most mornings to see whether related companies could affec those I do have an interest in.

Good lord, just took a peep at Whiz SP. Also glad I'm not involved there. So my facile view of those results appear to be in-line with that of the wider markets!! There's a confidence booster right there.

I can't find anything to get very involved with at the moment Stille and am enjoying doing very little (keeping an eye on about 10 companies) and doing some sport, spending more time with the kids etc. Starting to get tempted to retire completely! Probably won't though. The markets have a exert a big draw on me.

I noticed that MSM, clearly they view the future (they state that) as uncertain. It doesn't seem likely that will be viewed as a positive for them at least. I believe (happy to be corrected) that Xhita suggested in a relatively recent post that things had become less positive for EZY with respect to future bookings etc.

I have to say I've not checked Whiz SP, I have no interest in that (you can't chase every rabbit in the field). I assume it's RNS has not been met with optimism. Might look later, but I'm semi-retired for the moment. Not seeing compelling opportunities so sitting on my hands mostly. Apart from crap little trades in my canary account to keep the boredom at bay.

Stille, I'm full of nonsense. One weakness I have (apart from fundamental research!) is that I don't fully understand financial accounts. But the headline figures on Whiz RNS looked a bit iffy to me. Risk of over supply and 'under'-demand. I wondered about similar difficulties for the cruise companies with them having ordered new capacity that takes so long to come on line. When it does come on line, any weakness in demand could be punishing.

I guess, I'm just trying to understand where that RNS fits with the rest of the leisure travel market.

Does the RNS this morning not make you wonder about the near future for EZY? Fleet size up 11%, net profit for the period down 41%. Does that not hint at a near term turning point as far as optimism for leisure travel is concerned?

Sittingduck, you pretty well nailed it on the idea that the price would come down to 160 area a while ago. Any chance you could have a look at OCDO and see if you see anything obvious there?

There's a common quote tht says something along the lines of 'it's always darkest before dawn'. If you look at the change in sentiment here (in general as some have been consistent in their views) then it seems to me (if you accept the bb is a microcosm of investors in general) that sentiment is approaching a low and investors are giving up hope on this one. Could that mean that we're on the last leg down now? It seems to me that the concept here has value, the environment in which OCDO operates is increasingly favouring margins over looking after staff etc and that we're gradually creeping towards profits. I still think 236 or below is likely, but I'm watching it more and more closely now.
