Not sure if this has been posted, but it's quite recent. Deputy CEO Ocado group. James is very upbeat about ocado and makes the point clearly that Ocado is first and formost a tech company. He doesn't talk at all about competion (I'm thinking cost/how strong Ocado's moat is). There was a video posted in the last couple of weeks I think that I did watch today, but isn't in my history list (not sure how that happens) so I can't repost it. It covered OCADO's tech (different speaker), but the speaker did frequently refer to competition being credible and competent. If you look at the two videos (assuming you can find the first one), you get the message that OCADO is first and foremost a tech company and 2ndly that there is a lot of credible competition (although a lot of that is modular so requires more than one partner).

I suspect that the difficult we're seeing in the SP relates to the cost of OCADO's offering and the cost of offerings from OCADO's competitors. I personally don't ignore the fact Kroger is review it's role out of CFC's as a throw away comment from an interim CEO. I'm seeing that view a lot and believe it's just plain naive.

Xhita, the FTSE is at 9200 as I type, are you sure that there's a lack of money going into LSE markets? Is that perception more to do with a lack of tech giants on LSE on very hight multiples. That seems to be driving the US markets.

I have a lot of Harbour, I think it will drop to around 150 and I think all of the experts will think I'm a crack pot. I believe strongly in HBR and will hold and take the divi and at 150 I'll almost certainly add.

I think they'll be buying back at around 150p in the relatively near future, so rushing the buybacks seems likely a bad idea to me.

Don't go off on one NAV Mike, I'm a holder and the divi is good enough to compensate me for the opportunity cost. I'm still 'one of the good guys' as you said relatively recently, but I think we'll move to around 150

Oh and as far as the comment "if any share price movement was predictable then you’d be drinking mai tai ****tails on copacabana beach right now.", I kind of agree to the point that no-one can see into the future, but some things are more likelly than others and I still call 435 or below as likely and 370 or below as not out of the question. You can follow that back to see when I first suggested it, if you please.

I think you fundamentally misunderstand the short positions and are very likely wrong. My call is that the shorts will not close quickly.

I'm looking at a very similar chart but viewing it quite positively for a turn. Funny how the same data gives us different view points. That's a complication of human nature and bias I guess. Good luck Boyo, fingers crossed we'll bump into each other on some other board.

How can you say this "I feel the CEO should issue a statement to steady the ship. I mean we're in the middle of the most profitable period and the SP is at COVID levels. EZJ is not getting fair treatment by the market for whatever reason. I know the macro picture is poor but still, it's not COVID. The CEO and BOD have completely failed shareholders that's for sure."

You seem to imply by these comments that the board (or CEO) of EZJ is responsible for the wider economy? Doesn't seem rational at a first glance.

But retail should be in line or better, but there seems to be some question over whether we'll get an update or not. What's not so encouraging is what's happening in the US now. Must have been some sort of bad news, some one big missed an analyst target or worse

Gary, I'm assuming we'll be in line with expectations or slightly above. I'm assuming the Kroger situation won't be a big part of the update (if there is one). Might get a relief rally, but if there were to be any negative news, we'll probablyl get a good drop.
