Mmmm, it's not that convincing or confident Lorenz, but it's worth posting.

From my point of view the high probability movement is complete to 305. We finished near the low, but not on it (I've not seen the U/T and am assuming it's around 306). If it is around 306 or lower it suggests that a further fall is more likely. If that was to happen, it would seem that 299-300 might represent support. I'll be watching closely around that level if it comes. If the 305 line is rejected. I might be tempted to buy.

I hope so. But if it does dip again, I might buy more. Like Sheltie, I think it's a good entry price. But like Boyo, I'm not discounting the possibility that we drop again.

Be interesting to see whether we get another chance to accumulate or whether we're turning to the upside.

Retireguy, I like the idea that bricks and mortar will make a come back and have even thought it might happen myself at times. In reality, it's not happening though, online continues to gain traction. Even folk who don't have the money to do it, are ordering their food via delivery companies for a fiver a shot (or whatever the delivery fee is). It's madness, but it's happening. Doesn't seem to be slowing down even when discretionary spend is getting tighter. In a non-SP related way, I hope your right that we'll move to a more face to face, social experience.

On a SP related front I've added some more. Seemed to make the SP pop up a bit and change the short term volume profile, which reflects the low volumes being traded today.

I did think, 'goodness' I could have had that at 215, it's on the rise and I've paid 2p over the offer. Only after pulling the trigger did I realise that I was looking at the wrong chart. T i T. Still, I'm close to the current low. Just have to wait to see what they say on thursday to how close to the bottom I am and which side of the bottom!

that's utter baseless speculation with zero backup. You'd have been better taking that opportunity to remain quiet. But, having 'transparently entered a tiny position at 234', I'm assuming you're now uncomfortable that we're sitting 10p below that. You're down 300 pounds.

boyo's right, the risk of further falls is well worth considering. 3rd touch on this area. Maybe it finds buyers or maybe it doesn't. Speculative punt off this level, but in my view a sensible punt. I was 'out of action' this morning, but set a limit buy, which went through. When I got back I doubled that at roughly the same price. Not recommending anyone else does the same as there remains downside risk. Having said that, I've been waiting a long time for this price.

Clearly Walmart believe, like OCADO that automation is the way forward for large retailers. So they seem to be on the same page there, the question appears to revolve around whether or not OCADO's offering gives it a big advantage over it's competitors. Walmart is spinning out it's automation section to Symbotic in a 12 year deal worth 520 million dollars. The expectation is that Symbotic continue to develop the automation and sell it exclusively to Walmart. For me, it could suggest that Walmart either don't rate OCADO's offering or can't access it (I'm unclear on the details of exclusivity between OCDO and Kroger). If other solutions are better or more cost effective than OCADO's then, a hit to the SP is perhaps warranted. If they're not and this is a knee jerk reaction and OCDO's offering is as good or better than it's competitors, then it seems to me that the big players are aligned in their wish for more and more automation and OCDO could do well out of this in the future. If that's the case, the current weakness in the SP is an opportunity. Of course only time will tell, but we have some people on the board with in depth knowledge who might be able to comment on OCDO's position with respect to other competing automation systems. Obviously, I'm not talking about the sort of experts who registered yesterday and appeared on the board immediatly on the drop to spout nonsense. I've already filtered them.

If there's a question mark with respect to the value of their tech offering, then your point seems well worth considering. Do you have a SP value in mind for true value based on discounting their tech offering and focussing solely on retail?

I agree with Xhita, buybacks are currently often not helping SP's. Theoretically, they're good over time, but I've been watching a number of companies buying back and their SP's are not benefitting. That's over a period of 1-2 years.

I wondered what impact the Russian drones over Poland might have. Fingers crossed there's no escalation of that incident. Putin seems willing to push the boundaries.

I'm a bit suspicious of morningstar. Their recent assessment of HBR was laughable and apparently generated by AI on the basis of out of date information.

Apparently French air traffic control are planning to strike. If that lasts any significant time, it'll not do EZJ a lot of favours.
