After daily purchases of shares by SAG thee does not appear to have been any more purchases of shares since the 27 August. This leaves SAG owning 24.3% of the shares. Strategically I would expect them to buy another 1% of the shares as this would give them sufficient power that the BoD will have to engage with them. It will also help get their resolutions pass as and when the EGM is called.

Just seen this with nice photos of a well stocked Methil. TheEast ref 09.15 post I do not believe that INFA is close to being insolvent at the last set o accounts INFA had net assets. From what I have read INFA appears to have two problems the first is that it may be being too picky over what work it will take on. If all facilities were working at full stretch I could see the reason for that. However, in the current circumstances the BoD needs to consider adjusting the criteria for taking on work as if you say No to often people will stop asking. The perception I am getting is that ship repair work is down on last year. The second issue is that while Social Marketing has a place the markets take more notice of an RNS. I am inclined to the view that more information to the markets on contracts is needed.

Aldebaran ref 06.57 post the nearest competitor to PHE is the Republic of Ireland based EQT who have been developing sites in England.

If you follow the link in oldtramp's 19.55 post it would seem that the Stornoway Port Authority is promoting the Stornoway Deepwater Terminal development as a solution for the needs of the nearby Offshore Windfarms. It is worth noting that as part of the plans a new link road is being built linking Arnish to the Deepwater Terminal. This would create a clear delivery route for fabricated parts to get to the various Offshore Deepwater Terminal. This would seem to be part of the development of a Clean Energy Hub.

oldtramp ref 16.33 post I saw the second artemis article before and I also note this from the zero emissions ferries article you linked to 'As cities across the world seek ways to reduce pollution and ease traffic congestion, the transformative vessels to be produced right here in Belfast.' Are there any other shipbuilders in Belfast that could build the ferries? I also noted that H&W (Belfast)'s landlords are a part of the consortium/

I was looking at the RNSs in relation to Octopus Investments. On the 10 August Octopus issued an RNS disclosing that it owned circa 28m shares. Then on the 25 August it issued another RNS giving its holding at just short of 9m shares. Why did SAG not buy all of Octopus' shares which would have meant they would have been closer to the 30% to needed to make a takeover offer.

The next instalment on the purchase price for Appledore was due yesterday. As £300K of that instalment was in shares I was expecting an Issue of Equity RNS but I have not seen one yet. Does anyone know what is happening.
