Chrisatrdg/oldtramp JW has certainly been doing a lot of posting on LinkedIn today. I remember that at a roadshow in answer to one of my questions he said that 1 in 3 enquiries turns into a contract so I would expect a few contracts from the four days.

Just listened to the investor presentation and I was not impressed. The failure to address my question about the increase in Net Debt left me wondering are they trying to hide something. I note that the £500K exit package for the CEO was a contractual requirement. I wonder who put that in.

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be on board HMS Albion this week with Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) celebrating the start of both International Shipping Week and DSEI.

I am not sure what the markets were expecting but I doubt this was it. The change of name is logical, I would of liked if they had said more about the multi year work. This makes the end of quarter interesting as it might include details of any orders coming from DSEI.

The results are not as bad as they could be. One thing I would like to know is what was the cause of the significant drop in Net Assets. Also debt increased significantly without any explanation. I would expect an increase in debt to be balanced by an increase in assets but that is not what happened here.

I note that H&W have said in a LinkedIn post that they could build four ships for the Home Office concurrently using all four of its sites. All the Home Office has to do is a direct award or issue the tender.

I have submitted the following question for tomorrow's investor Presentation. It has been worded to try and avoid it being said to be outside the scope of the meeting.
For the growth of the company it needs to generate new business and clients. What assessment was made of the effect on this of not attending DESI 2021 as Defence is a key sector for the company.

So it may be that the money available for the strategy will be announced in the Autumn statement then the strategy will be published.
