Engineering giant TechnipFMC teamed up with Norwegian start-up Magnora Offshore Wind earlier this year to develop floating wind projects in Scottish and Norwegian waters. The visit comes as they look to engage with the local oil & gas supply chain in the hope of transferring skills from this sector to renewables.

Chrisatrdg ref 09.26 post I have checked the Belfast Harbour website https://booking.belfast-harbour.co.uk and when you look at the traffic expected tab Dorset Spirit is showing as not due until 13.51 on 28 September . On checking the In port tab Dorset Spirit is showing as in GA until 28 September so it looks like it is anchored offshore until Tuesday.

We may have an eventful week on the news front. On Thursday we should have the Quarter 3 trading update assuming that the Business Update last week was not given in replacement of it. Also we may have interim results following the change of year end. As I said yesterday I am personally expecting a loss for the quarter. The question is what other news will we have next week? I recall that JW did indicate in I think it was in the ********** interview that we would have news this month I cannot recall what it was though.

The new Board HARL is now up so need to post to that one not sure how long this board will remain.

Clearly a push for the cruise market.

The Belfast Harbour website is showing European Causeway as berthed in the Dry Dock until 4 October. However the www.vesselfinder.com website has it in Larne. Does anyone have confirmation as to which is right.

I note that no link has been provided to the ISS recommendation. I assume that we are to take it on faith that this is what is recommended. Personally my preference is to always check with an independent source where possible.

Just checked the Belfast Harbour website and cross checked with Vesselfinder.com and Dorset Spirit is now showing as arriving tomorrow morning two days early. I am not sure if this means it will be moored up just outside the harbour.

Seems like JW has sought investment from Invest Northern Ireland who are not keen to invest.

With the change in year end will be having interim results next week. If so based on what I have observed from the Belfast Harbour website I am expecting a loss to be posted. That said I am still hopeful of a breakeven at years end. A lot of work appears to have been booked in for Q4.

I am confused about today's RNS. Why is the information only now being published the information is a month old.

Just shown up on Belfast Harbour website tomorrow lunchtime European Causeway is docking in BDD. I recall somebody say it is coming in for an oil change. It is not showing as leaving within the next seven days but that can change.

oldtramp ref 09.15 post I could not see any yellow on the cars in the photos accompanying the story so I presume we are talking about specks. Looks like Kaefer are paying for the cars to be cleaned so I suppose they are accepting liability.
