I note that both BAB and BAe share price is down today so I wonder if the drop in the share price is partly a sector wide issue.

The quote from JW you reference is in the written evidence to that enquiry. I note that in another enquiry the Defence Secretary gave an indication that firms should not assume that they will be able to get order after order from the MoD and they need to diversify.

If the share price was to go back to a price were I am not in a loss I would consider the question of selling. I may have been more accepting of the statement from the ISS if the Board has not been so desperate to persuade people to vote against the motion.

Chrisatrdg ref 13.11 post I have just checked the Belfast Harbor website and it is showing Dorset Spirit as shifting to the BBD at 11.30 tomorrow and scheduled to leave BBD 12.00 on the 4th October three hours after European Causeway leaves Dry Dock.

TruroTrader ref 09.17 post In the absence of a link to the report, and I did try and check on the ISS website, we do not know if the report said anything else. Also we cannot rule out that it is a question of an interpretation of what was said. As I cannot confirm from the source material the basis of the recommendation I am not going to accept the statement that ISS advised to vote against the motions. As it happens I have already told my broker to vote against the motions.

I note that the Investor Presentation RNS did not give the time of the meeting. It is at 12.45 gives us a chance to read the results.

Does anyone have any idea what this sentence in the RNS is foreshadowing. The Company is already executing a plan to strengthen its Board - which has included the recent appointment of Sir Jonathan Band - and further announcements will be made in due course.

I must confess I doubt that anyone would miss Mr Richardson as I am not sure what he did. As for the reason for his departure the less said the better. I wonder what the market will make of it.

Having looked at all the various Harland and Wolff Companies registered at Companies House and I think that the name change was a consequence of the change from Infrastrata PLC to Harland and Wolff Group Holdings PLC. Bear with me from the Companies House register it would seem that the structure is Harland and Wolff Group Holdings PLC is the parent company. Below this Company are two Holding Companies. Harland and Wolff Group Holdings Limited Which owns the four sites which are all separate companies. Then you have Infrastrata UK Limited which is the Holding Company for Infrastrata Energy Limited and Infrasrata Energy Hub Limited.

I hope this all clear in short you have a PLC that has two operating divisions both of which have separate holding companies that own the operating companies for their division.

I am not sure if an Export Credit Finance Facility is in place in respect of the Dorset Spirit. As far as I am aware it would qualify as it is foreign owned and will be going back to Canada when the repairs are completed. Gareth Bowers a Rigging Supervisor/Docking Master said this on LinkedIn about the work that is to be done on the Dorset Spirit. 'Tail end work at the clients discretion Jim, keep an eye out for progress reports on our H&W profile... ' I am not sure what this means.

I am not sure if Lottie123 or anyone else can explain if the owners of the Dorset Spirit have a Export Credit Finance Facility in place when would HARL be paid. As I see it there are three options. Firstly, the complete cost could be paid upfront and repayments would start once the works are completed. Secondly, stage payments could be paid on the achievement of milestones. Thirdly on completion of the works. If it is the third option would the existence of the facility make it easier for HARL to obtain finance to complete the work as payment is guaranteed.

Avyererdowt ref 17.44 post I think that JW would do all he can avoid another raise as if I recall correctly at the last roadshow he said that there would be no raise fro at leat twelve months. So if he was to go for a raise before it would bring his competence into question. I suspect that with some of the projects they would seek an upfront payment which would help with the cashflow.

Wiseinvestor23 ref 08.56 With regards to the Saipem contract that is being paid in monthly instalments in arrears starting in August so only two payments at the most have been made. No other information has been made publicly available about how much has been received from contracts. Some information may be in the trading update which is due on Thursday.
