Good thing it is August as it gives me time to read all these RNSs. Bearing in mind my earlier post I would be inclined to accept this offer if it was combined with shares. A part cash part shares offer allows the possibility of in time recovering losses through dividends on the share element. Well that is how I look at it.

I was just looking at the Contract Notice for the FSS Contract and the next three stages of the process are

5. CPP Bid Submission Deadline: 23rd August 2021
6. CPP Contracts Awarded: 27th August 2021
7. Manufacture ITN Issue Date: 27th August 2021

These are indicative dates so there might be slippage. But if matters are running to schedule we should know by next week Monday if INFA has got pass the first stage.

Oldtramp ref 10.28 post I wonder what these exciting projects are. I reckon that if INFA said more about what work it had the share price would not be so low. The PR department needs to be saying more about what work is going on across the sites.

oldtramp ref 10.53 post Looking at the table Belfast has a greater length, width, depth and ease of access. The other areas that Rosyth does beat Belfast can be done by upgrading facilities or an arrangement with the Titantic Hotel.

Jabido ref 10.59 post I think this event is for possible sub contractors to the main bidders. The article does say that participation is through the bidders that will be attending. If that is the case I suspect that Team Resolute are one of the bidders.

Any foreign bid will attract a Mandatory referral. I can see the Secretary of State making it a condition of giving clearance that the defence contracts are spun out into a separate company.

If there is a revised bid this might trigger a counter bid. In the event that there is a foreign element in the ownership of any bidder this might trigger a referral under the National Security and Investment Act 2021. If a bid was too come in at 6.5p I will hold in case a higher bid comes out. I might be persuaded by a cash and shares offer.

NigelHaemoglobin ref 13.34 post I am inclined to the view that INFA are in a good place to land a significant proportion of the fabrication contracts for the WTGs in relation to both the Crown Estate and the Crown Estate Scotland leases for two connected reasons. Firstly, there is the large fabrication footprint that INFA have with Methil and Arnish. Secondly, there is the local content provisions in both the Crown Estate and Crown Estate Scotland Leases.

Chrisatrdg ref 11.54 post as the next payment on Appledore is due Wednesday and £300,000of the purchase price will be in shares we will get an RNS on Tuesday or Wednesday to record that there has been an issue of equity in the region of 1.5m shares.

GarryParry ref 08.21 post this is not my area of expertise so I willing to be corrected but my reading is that it just records that Science Group has increased its holding during the offer period within which it has to make an offer.

ban4118 ref 11.25 post I have just checked see the RNS of 25 August 2020 for the complete details but the next instalment is due next week Wednesday. The first payment on the Saipem Contract should cover it. Also any advance payment on the repair work on the Azura may also cover it. The cash element is only £1m which should be affordable.

I am expecting to see two RNSs within the next couple of weeks. Firstly there is the RNS to cover the issue of equity for the next instalment of the purchase price for Appledore. In view of the recent share price performance I would expect the number of shares to be in the region of 1.5m. The second RNS is more speculative and that is we might see a contract RNS in a bid to bolster the share price I would expect to see this next week.

The next scheduled update from INFA is the end of September. On the financial side I would be looking for a quarter on quarter increase in revenues. This would be based largely on income from Saipem starting in August. I would also hope that we get some information on a site by site basis. We have not heard anything about Arnish other than we have a General Manager.

Before then I am going to Belfast I will try and get some photos or video of the shipyard.

Next week we will see two cargo ships arriving at Methil. As previously mentioned the Geervliet will be docking on the 27 August. Then on the 30 August the Greta will be arriving.
