What are the rules around when SOLG (or any other company) has to release information? For example, if they have really good results at La Hueca, can they wait awhile and release the news when its best for them, or is there some time obligation?

Yes, 10% in a day looks concerning. However, look at a chart for the last month or even the last ten days and it looks a lot better :)

Momentum had to run out at some point and the dip is minor. Perhaps NM has been waiting for the share price to stablise before releasing the next RNS :)

11c CAD that is and sold at 2.35 CAD.

The shares were 0.11c options. Looks a lot like directors taking some free money before Xmas without significantly reducing their holdings. I topped up at 124.

I'm a Sol Gold shareholder and lurker, but happy to let more informed poster comment. Except in this case when I have to point out that the nicer Bordeaux wines are the best :) I drink Amarones, Barolos, Riojas and Chiantis, but if forced to choose I have to go for a Margaux or a Paulliac.

With so many shares falling recently, it may be that people have to pay margin calls and are having to sell gold to do that. The gold price should go back up even higher once the situation stabilises.

Maybe they were concerned that if it became general knowledge that a major shareholder was selling their entire holding, there would be even more damage to the share price.

I'm a shareholder in BMN and although small by the standards of some on here, it is one of my larger holdings. My own research suggests this is a very good investment, but the share price is still going nowhere. I know there have been suggestions of MM on this forum and I found the following link about an FCA complaint on those lines from 2019.
