Not directly, but by restricting the BOD's room for manoeuvre you make it much more likely that BHP/NCM gain control, which in turn leads to massive dilution.
There may be a battle for control of the company (which includes our shares) and we don't know all the factors involved, which means we have to rely on the BOD to follow the right strategy. Therefore, you need to either trust the BOD (based on what they have done so far) and support them when they ask for our help, or undermine them and risk BHP/NCM getting what they want, which I suspect will not be to the benefit of private investors.
