Jmax, you couldn't be more wrong with your narrative that "nobody wanted Tullow at 10p". First of all, Tullow has never been up for sale for 10p. If you're referring to a global fire sale in March 2020 then all businesses were focused on preserving cash and the stock was trading at around 10p only for a week or so before bouncing up, so obviously somebody wanted it! It's like saying that nobody wanted RR. at 37p or Elementis at 20p. Secondly, you're viewing stock valuations from traders' perspective because you're purchasing or selling very few shares... Say at 18p, maybe it's possible to buy 1m, 2m or even 5m shares right now but how are they going to get the remaining 1,45bn? Why did Total negotiate a 500-600m deal for Uganda in 2020, if they could've had it all for 145m @ 10p with Kenya, Ghana, Gabon etc.?
