I don’t think you’ve really got the hang of what an existential struggle is. putin wants the complete destruction of the ukrainian nation, identity, autonomy and culture. if the ukrainians surrender to putin, they will cease to exist as a people.

putin simply wants ukraine’s complete surrender and total erasure as a meaningfully independent entity & identity.

put the blame firmly where it belongs. it is putin’s savage war of aggression and blatant landgrab which has brought misery to ukraine.

? i wonder what he finds so remarkable / odd about it? …. it’s not that exotic, just a job like any other, & i’m sure there are a whole load of different occupational histories represented within the pool of folks who post on this board, some in the financial sector and some not.

… in my own case, it was a pretty long time ago, and neither here nor there in relation to EUA and its prospects. back in the 1980s, i worked for a large american investment bank, as a market maker in OTC FX derivatives…. ancient history…

i tend to presume gecko keeps harking on about it, mixed in with his repeated personal abuse of mr_w, b1ll, etc, because there simply isn’t that much newsworthy that can be said about EUA these days. since they got that placing away, may not be that much significantly happening here until circa dec/jan/feb (v v approx, lol!) when they will probably need to think about another fundraising.

Moxie, no idea what you are moaning about —-> anybody who signs up to an LSE free account has to provide their name and email address, and LSE will also have their IP address. …. so if any court could be persuaded to force LSE to disclose contact details for a poster (e.g. via norwich pharmacal order) then that would apply to free account users every bit as much as paid accounts.

Sadly, big pharma could just stop selling meds relatively cheaply in some poorer countries, to help ensure that US is paying similar to other countries … levelling prices up, not down?

Wilco, ACF forecast that EUA would make £341 million revenue for 2021. … have a look back at this company’s published accounts, and see what the actual revenue for 2021 was.

(hint: ACF were wrong by a multiple of several hundred - wildly, ludicrously, suspiciously wrong - a blind chihuahua could have made a better guess by just p***ing a number into the snow after drinking a saucer of guinness.)

EUA did *not* publish the ACF report, nor did they author it. (note also, the ACF report explicitly stated it was not meant for retail pis & yet, lo and behold, the actual audience turned out to be retail pis, fancy that!)

i suspect their previous nomad may not have seen eye to eye with EUA about ACF, which imo might have been an additional straw on the camel’s back after that embarrassing ‘clarification’ they were forced to issue about their ‘understandings’ with CITIC & VTB.
