Maybe it’s just me, but i don’t really think of EUA as a “large multinational organisation” tbh.

(more as a sh*tty little AIM company with a few poor quality ‘assets’ in a heavily polluted and largely mined-out corner of warmongering pariah state russia, and a convertible loan that is keeping the wolf from the door).

… come to that, i haven’t noticed AZN, Bunzl, Shell, etc etc, facing many winding-up petitions from their own lawyers over unpaid debts.

Good companies would try to avoid such unnecessary legals, leno. if you think that’s evidence of EUA acting effectively and competently, god help your broader portfolio.

13:00, nonsensical post. sure, i expect that all the EUA bosses & associates will do just fine whether there’s a sale or not, i think their nests have already been very well feathered, but that wouldn’t stop ‘em wanting to trouser extra money anyway from the ongoing EUA payouts for hardly any work.

(as ever, it remains obscure just how much the insiders are actually receiving, since there is no meaningful transparency about who has been benefiting from all the money that has been siphoned off into the subs and that cypriot ‘holding company.’)

Offler, the other aspect re EUA’s legal cases is that although some of them seemed necessary and sensible to pursue from an EUA perspective, they also got involved in other threatened/actual legal actions that were unhelpful issues of their own making, where eventual settlement terms were never very transparent anyway. a better company would not fall into such messes.

come on, ‘working’ for EUA ain’t gonna get in the way of anyone getting or doing other jobs anyway … the company is doing so little that it can only take about 5 mins ‘work’ a week, shurely? - nice little sinecures!

On the plus side, it’s nice to see that amit appears to have abandoned his attempts to drum up pi interest though those ridiculous website updates (- tho’ i suppose he might still to trying to tap up some individuals directly through other channels).

unclear if the website updates have dried up because of the threatened legals, or simply because the game stopped as the dwindling pool of mugs finally ran out to money to pony up yet more for amit.

Suppose somebody set up an entirely fraudulent timeshare scam company in london …. that scam company then advertises widely and manages to attract 1000 potential punters into its marketing events, to read their spiel & listen to the sales pitch.

if 900 of those punters then just walk away and just 100 people actually hand over money to the scammers, those 900 sensible folks could not sue the timeshare company for financial compensation as they have suffered no loss at all (other than perhaps a small amount of their time).

(… for the avoidance of doubt, m’lud, i am not claiming that amit ever sold timeshares thro’ ctag…)

If legal action *only* focuses on phase 4, that was presumably a relatively small number of suckers who got drawn in (- tho’ still good mney for amit!) and i don’t see how any pis who kept their wallets closed in stage 4 would have any right at all to financial compensation/redress. … different matter tho’ if legals *also* look at phases 1-3 imo.

3) the phase when some pis were induced to buy unlisted shares by amit making claims / promises about a planned IPO, which never happened, & with no independently verifiable evidence available that anything of the kind was genuinely being progressed.

4) the phase when some pis were induced to buy unlisted shares by statements & promises being made on the ctag website about supposed ‘licensing’ & ‘DaaP’ deals, but also according to several posters through direct contacts to individuals from amit by email / phone / text.

I think much would depend on how narrowly the legal action would focus (& of course what can be proven!)

I think there are four different phases for potential legal scrutiny:

1) trading while ctag was a listed company, when many pis were induced to buy based on promises about the onitor, although no working onitor was ever demonstrated in any independently verifiable context.

2) the brief & final phase of listed trading when pis were led to believe funding was coming from a placing/novum, which was then suddenly cancelled because of a “miscommunication”.

Added today, moderate size, longer term view….now quite a sizeable position for me, not far off matching my overweight AZN.

no idea re short term price action, but conviction buy in my book re good leadership, better strategic vision being implemented efficiently, tighter corporate structure, good comms, and adding to my position while sector (and country) still somewhat out of favour but anticipating a favourable rotation within 12-18 months.
