… and more broadly, in relation specifically to EUA, (a) EUA were not able to sell their so-called assets even well **before** putin’s war, which i think is because they were never worth much in the first place, and (b) a temporary ceasefire of some kind in ukraine will not make EU & UK friends with russia again!! … russia is actively at war with us, with sanctions, sabotage etc etc all likely to continue.

there’s very little positive to say about EUA these days, and i think that there are some trader types such as TCM & GLG who are just trying to talk up the idea of a spike going into US elections simply to help them flip.

… the real, fundamental question is simply whether or not EUA actually owns very valuable assets that others want to pay lots of money for. me, i don’t think they do. jmho.

TCM, i don’t mind whether the republicans or democrats win, i’m not american and not my problem.

clearly if trump wins he will cut / axe US funding to ukraine (& probably over time harris will anyway). but i don’t think that will bring “peace” to europe … it might force ukraine to accept current zones of control / ceasefire, but they will not cede sovereignty, have much vengeance & reparations to seek, war crimes to prosecute, children to repatriate, & will know that they will have to prepare for the next phase of attempted conquest by putin.

similarly, if US withdraws ever further into isolationist position, UK & EU will need to increase their military / defensive positions, since russia is already actively at war with us, and the more putin gains ground in ukraine, and the more the US withdraws, the more it will embolden putin to try more aggressive conquests & control in europe. … there would be no ‘peace’ dividend.

There’s a distinction between ‘peace’ talks and ceasefires, for instance. & end of active kinetic phase need not mean end of hostilities. & ukrainian territory occupied by russians does not become russian, simply because russian squaddies occupy it.

(for comparisons, consider e.g. north/south korea divide, green line in cyprus, illegal occupation of golan, gaza, west bank, etc etc. ) ….. war in ukraine might enter a colder / more stuck phase, but that need not mean that ‘peace’ has come, or war over, etc etc.

still wildly unrealistic ramping from some that EUA will soar if russkie occupation succeeds. none of that will change the underlying value (or rather, lack thereof) of EUA assets they can’t sell.

It’s just what that bunch of EUA rampers do … repeated personal abuse, bullying and lies, which is pretty much the only card they have to play (- other than election of trump would bring instant world peace and riches for all, lol - ) given the utter lack of substance, progress and value at the company after so many years of failed attempts (or pretences?) trying to sell the supposed ‘assets’. B1ll’s been a particular target for ragsrob, dim, MAB and their fellow travellers recently, but it says far more about them than it ever does about B1ll or any of their other targets.

13:28, dietch, you are confusing investment strategy versus entertainment strategy. i wouldn’t dream of investing money in EUA, but it has been providing a lot of free entertainment over the last few years.

(most AIM shares, and pretty much all share chat boards, should be viewed the same way, imv.)
