it is now only nine months until EUA has to publish annual accounts again (or face suspension, delisting, etc etc.). hence in only 7-8 months time, EUA yet again needs to find some other / additional way to convince its auditors that it can remain a going concern for the 12 months following. (?? yet another short-term convertible loan, with the gingham tableclothes as collateral??

7-8 months is not that far away, certainly given the glacial pace at which EUA does anything at all. … no wonder the rampers are desperately hoping they will get a trump related spike to exit on.

09:51, for sure, many are very underwater, but (a) some of them might still want to cut their losses before this eventually goes busy, & (b) the traders who like to play this share as much as they can don’t care what anybody else’s longer term average is, just so long as they can pump & dump leaving some other poor sucker holding the baby,

In the run-up to the AGM (and where are the interims??) we just have a tedious rampy-rampy phase of various posters trying to talk up a spike they can exit onto, based on the facile story that US politics will force a peace soon in ukraine and that will automatically then also mean that EUA asset proceeds for loads of money. i think that’s just a very tired, cynical ramp theme being deployed because there’s nothing much else to talk up.

worth remembering, EUA failed to sell any of this stuff anyway well before the war, and russia has become an even more (wow!) untrustworthy & unstable jurisdiction since.

… even when the hot phase of the war comes to a halt, i don’t think that will bring ‘peace’ with it, in the sense of an agreed resolution, everybody mates, ‘let’s all get to normal’.

most likely there will then be a very protracted & also unpleasant phase of russian occupation of some Ukrainian territory, + ongoing insurgency / sabotage / represssion, but with zero concessions on sovereignty to the russians, & ongoing sanctions until russian withdrawal & reparations [v unlikely while putin still alive].

trump’s peace plan is simply to veto further US spending on the war, but that wouldn’t stop the above.

Bfd, i think the folks running the EUA game just want to encourage gullible pis to believe that there is a chance the sp will be over 26p by the end of the year. (same kind of reason the ACF report was touted.)

i don’t think that’s got anything to do with “value in EUA assets”, just about trying to pump up the s/p.

honestly, i don’t think you have been paying attention to what EUA has been up to over the last few years. EUA has been all about pumping the share price, way way way more than anything to do with mining. … ACF & onwards, ‘shortly’, ‘massive dividends’, etc, lol…

nothing about extending those warrants was notified to the market by the RNS about the loan details & conditions.

Happychimp, i have already posted that i think it is simply cynical spoofing, to try to increase the possibilities of a trading spike.

if warrant extension was part of the conditions for securing the convertible loan, then EUA should have declared that plainly in the RNS about the loan. the BoD would be in breach of AIM regs to do otherwise

? are you seriously trying to suggest that the BoD and the nomad deliberately misled the market by concealing material info regarding that loan? - potentially defamatory if that is what you mean.

Icarus, if the BoD seriously thought that there was “something in the offing within the timescale” which would actually create a non-trivial possibility that 26p warrants might enter into the money, then why on earth would the BoD want to give away that warrant extension?? - to the contrary, it would be their fiduciary duty to fight tooth and nail against giving away freebie extra warrant duration.

…. purely for the sake of debate, let’s assume for a moment that the warrant extension isn’t simply a little piece of cynical spin to try to fuel a trading blip for the company’s buddies …

? why would any pis want the company to just extend the life of those warrants for zero additional payment from the warrant holder(s)?

EUA BoD/associates could still *hope* for a sale of EUA assets, even while they live high on the hog milking the company for their lifestyle pay and perks (not to mention whatever profits various folks might also have been making from p&d trades & wherever the heck that holding company & subs money goes.)

but wanting a sale is way different from whether or not one will happen, and if it ever did at what price.

it’s a little odd how the rampy enthusiasts so often present as the angry, rude, verbally bellicose posters … one would have thought that since so many of them are free-riding with marvellous profits already that they would be pretty happy, confident and relaxed (as the rampers and shills used to say over on the WRN board, back in the day).
