Consider the road conditions in the rainy season, a dirt track will be impassable, so a hard top will be required with bridges and culverts. The contract haulage cos will want a profit unless NCM go inhouse and by their own fleet with capex and the massive maintenance costs. My tiny brain has tried to work out the tonnage that will be moved the 45kms but i ran out of fingers. My only reason for starting the AISC thread was to point out the massive upside for profit when the POG increases. $100 increase in POG increases profit by a much greater margin on a % basis. Hi All. Using very basic figs. If AISC at $1700/oz is say $500 gives a profit of $1200/oz. When (not if) the POG rises to $3000/oz the profit /oz will be $2500/oz. Anyone care to do some math on the SP then. All i know is it will be many multiples of todays SP. Hold these golden shares for the long term, if you can. ATB Speedy

When, not if, that line is broke to the upside i see the BBs breaking ranks and some (probably JPM) going long. Hi All. There is a major battle going on between the shorts (bullion banks) and longs (managed money) @$1700. We all know the POG will rise with the state of the worlds FIAT money. The problem is that the shorts have access to unlimited amounts of $$$$s and will fight this rise. I can see a price of $3k/oz but it will take a bit longer than most "experts " think.
