Hi Tacet. Brave man having a long on $$s at the mo. What is your tolerance figure to the down side, looks to me as the down trend has a lot more to go, but that is just my opinion and not backed by any real knowledge of FX. Apart from gold v $$s more up my street. Wish you luck ATB Speedy

Hi TMT. Good advice. Nothing ever goes up for ever, except the relationship between gold a fiat. Only when paper money comes to its real value of zero and the POG is infinitely higher and a gold backed currency comes into being will the POG level off and maybe correct a little. I will hold my physical for many many more years to come. ATB Speedy

Hi All. According to Ted Butler and Ed Steer JPM are out of their short position in the COMEX gold and silver contract, if true then this is massive news and could be the reason for the recent spurt in the POG/POS, all good news for our SP. ATB Speedy

Hi All. I have just skimmed thru the weekend posts and my JPM post seems to have caused a flap. The post was a reflection on my personal dealings with matters that JPM have had a hand in, not just SXX but many others. JPM may or may not have their sights on GGP, but if there is a potential to earn $billions then this will be on their radar. They are not a white knight and only ever act selfishly, if anyone really believes in the Chines wall theory i have a bridge in London to sell you. I will reiterate "JPM in Speedy out". ATB Speedy

Hi All. We all have a choice, go or stay. If any of us have concerns over the future of GGP, ie buy out price, future ownership, appointment of broker/ financial adviser, this is all out of our control and therefore not worth worrying about. I am staying until i see the position more clearly. At the moment i am sitting on a healthy profit with GGP but it is not the only goldie doing well in the current climate. ATB Speedy

Hi All. I distrust JPM. Most of my investments where JPM wormed their way in have resulted in losses or trimmed profit. Their actions when there criminal activity makes $billions and pay $millions in fines makes them above the law. They treat private investors as collateral damage. I for one will sell all my GGP stock and reinvest in other good goldies if there is even a slight possibility of JPMs involvement in our co. You have been warned "do not trust JPM". ATB Speedy

Hi All. I posted yesterday stating that GGP is/was a gamble and physical gold is an investment. Some one rightly mentioned that gold is only a store of wealth and not an investment, this has been the case for 1000s of years but has changed in the last 100 years. With the POG being manipulated and forced down by the billion banks to make $s£s etc look better than they really are. With the POG been suppressed and under valued buying now is more than a store of wealth it is an investment in the true meaning of the word. ATB Speedy

Hi Tom. I use Sharps Pixley for my coin purchases, Green park underground, past the ritz, first left and then on the left, a very large kind doorman will welcome you, bring photo ID and some form of money and hey presto you own real money. ATB Speedy

Hi Stewart. Very sensible approach. GGP is/was a gamble, physical gold is an investment, Britannias/sovs are the absolute dream as both are tax free (at the moment) and will always protect your spending power. I must add it is total nonsense to quote gold in $£ or euros as these currencies are false, much better to look at the POG in relation to an acre of land or the amount of ozs needed to buy a house, when you do this you will understand gold has not increased in value. Hi All. The SP for GGP is linked to the POG, the POG is rising and will keep on rising to a level that will astound everyone. The problem here is that we do not have an defined amount of gold at the moment (but it is lots). Only when we know how much is down there will we be able to price GGP. My bet is a lot more than 15p.
